i think his point was to show possibly as far as i know the rarest and most expensive giclee ever.

Oh No Frazetta Giclee's are usually much more expensive.

And Ross' Batman isn't fat, he's well muscled and wearing actual cloth. When you draw actual cloth over muscle it doesn't show definition. I know I know, it's comics, but Ross tries to put realism into his depictions.

(As you can clearly see Adam West is well muscled and wearing actual cloth. When you wear actual cloth over muscle it doesn't show definition (Thanks Josh). It's a shame as Adam is a sure fire grade A specimen and obviously Ross's inspiration for Batman )
