I've been waiting since 1992 for a "definitive" Batman and this one can easily be it.
I just got over it with the constant delays. There are other things to achieve outside of my statue collection...

The strong folk won't need to buy a Batman. They'll have the one they never cancelled.

Seeing as I am one of the ones who have cancelled let me cover a few points of the people thinking I am a mad man.
First off I always feel disappointed with PFs in some form or another. You never know exactly what you are getting until it arrives. What gets me most is how much the quality of the PFs have deteriorated over the years. A buddy of mine has some early pieces and the sculpts, paint and more importantly the tailoring craps on anything new from SS from a great height. The suit on Joker for example doesn't even come close to that on say the Hitman PF. I am sick of sloppy and flat paint jobs. There are clearly issues with Batman hence the delays and enough is enough. I don't care if they keep delaying it to get it right - fact is its not right and they can keep delaying and delaying but I am not entertaining their shoddy work anymore.
Something else that hugely bugs me about this statue is the base - you can all scream and shout how much you love it BUT there is one huge thing and that's that it draws attention away from the actual statue. Its too big and obvious and its completely put me off. From the initial pic the 89 PF looks more like it in terms of pose and base.
As I have already said I have zero regrets cancelling.

You also forgot to mention the giraffe neck and the weird looking cape which is floating above his right shoulder....
Oh, and the change of the embossed emblem to print and also the position of where its been placed on his chest, or should that be below his chest

Is that for me King? Yea, I've been umming on this piece for a while (ask Spidey976)
he told me to hang on in there as it will look amazing once in hand. So i'm gonna hold him to that...at the end of the day, ive waited so long for this one that it will be a travesty to cancel with the finishing line in sight besides, i'm sure I could get my money back if I wasn't overly impressed with it...

To those of you who have cancelled, why didn't you at least wait to get it in-hand before deciding you didn't want it? I understand you might be fed up and annoyed, but who knows, maybe seeing it in person would have completely changed your opinion. And if you didn't like what you got, you'd have no problem selling it to someone who really wanted it. Not judging or anything, I just find it curious.

I LOVE *****ing about the delay but no way in hell I'm gonna cancel. Piece still looks badass to me and it's gonna be sick in the collection.

People who start whining about how it looks need to accept that all the orders that are based off the original sculpt aren't gonna be perfect.

For international customers like me its just much less hassle to cancel if you think you are gonna return it after. We pay hig customs fees which sideshow does not refund. Instead we have to go through a long and annoying process to get those fees back. Also selling it isnt always as easy as it seems. With ebay fees, paypal fees, people trying to low ball you etc. sometimes just makes more sense to cancel.
P.S. I havnt cancelled Im keeping mine!
