I thought my Sauron PF had the same problem. Foot wouldn't go in, tried to force it, wouldn't budge. It took the smallest of subtle twists to one side and suddenly it was snug in there perfect.

Yeah I tried twisting too, it wasn't having it. I have two Batman PF's and I tried my other base too and it was worse. My other bodies slide right into the base no problem, so I think the casting process was just a bit off on this body.

Got a response today about paint issues I had on the long ears head (just some relatively minor spots under the chin). They had said I could go on the waitlist for a new head. I told them I'd take a partial credit and fix it myself if that was an option. So they gave me a $40 dollar credit to apply to a future order. I'll take it.

Just opened up Bats! WOW! !!!!! I remember seeing teases years ago..lol Now having it in my hands...I loved it then, I love it even more now! The armpits could be better,but will be fix't in due time...It's a beast! I'm in love!

To play devil's advocate, it's wholly possible they just reused the base and box and slapped a new statue in there.

However, the first buyers issues were confirmed to still exist with the new owner. Either way, it seems a little fishy.

well i just got a reply back from sideshow, here is what they said....

Thank you very much for your patience. We apologize for the problems regarding your damaged Batman Body. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have not received our full allotment of replacements to satisfy the exchange requests received for this piece.

Because of this, we have placed you on a waitlist for a replacement once these pieces arrive and we will alert you with further information as soon as we have updates for you. Your waitlist order number is xxxxxxxxxx.

If you do not wish to be on the waitlist, because we are not able to provide you with an exchange for your item at this time, we can offer you a full refund for your damaged item. If this is what you would like to do, please let us know and in a separate email you will receive instructions on how to return your item.

I am sad to report after receiving my new replacement body today that he wouldn't fit in the base. Even when I tried to force it in there.

I'm in the same situation with my replacement body. I'm on the waitlist for another replacement.

Easy fix. Use a hair dryer and blast some warm air on the leg. It'll make the polystone flexible, and lightly squeeze the leg towards the peg hole until it fits snug in there.

I don't believe so. The issue is that SSC gets so many Ex and Regular statues, and then they get their replacement parts (bodies, hands, heads, erc..). However, in this case they haven't gotten all of their replacements yet. However, that shouldnt effect how many Exs end up out there in the open market. With 7500 Regs coming they are bound to have quit a few replacements down the road.

Thanks for the info I tried that earlier though and it didn't work. That is how I got the peg to go in the hole at all as seen in the second picture. But it wouldn't go all the way down and fit in unfortunately.

That sucks for us to get a replacement and then have it still not work. Pretty lame hope we get perfect one's next time.

Already sent the email with the pictures to William. If I don't hear from him by mid day tomorrow I'll call on my lunch. But now I get put on the bottom of the replacement list.
