The rear flip-to-side optic is a 4x magnifier. The front optic is a red dot sight. The PEQ-15 is a red laser with an IR laser and illuminator. All the rail accessories are compatible across all the JOE weapons including the crossbow. Hope that helps!

Awesome. Did not know all of that myself. I did use one of the rails on the crossbow.

There was some question as to what knife Beach comes with some pages back, I'm pretty sure it's a TOPS Knives Anaconda 7B:

But I've had no luck figuring out what type of grenades the Joes come with. They're very similar to the M67 grenade, but the Joe version is less spherical and has a concave groove around the ball, I've yet to find a picture of a M67 or any other type that looks like this.
Which leads me to believe that the Joe grenade is a fictional version of the M67.

Sideshow Q, could you clear this up?

:waveHey Guys i finished repainting my Beachhead Ex head sculpt and decided that's the one that im goin to use.I also added knee pads on the count of the pants looking to weird on his legs but now they look better IMO.I also have a PIC with him having a cigar in his mouth not sure if it looks good or not so let me know what you think.SORRY for the bad PIC quality but i was in a rush!I don't know, for some reason,in some of the PICS the freckles on his face have a yellowish tint but it doesn't look like that in person:dunno.I think it's the camera!:gah:ANyway, guys let me know what ya'll think!THANX!!:wink1:

I like the dark shadowing on the sides and the cig is a great addition.

I'm thinking about wiping the hair and making it blend from a buzz cut and to the top as it were cut with clippers.

Great paint work. I agree with Ski, the shadowing on the side of his head looks great.

As for the kneepads, hey, great minds think alike.

Hey THANX!Yeah yours looks good! The knee pads are from what figure?Did your Beachhead pants look funny?Mine look like they over starched it!It's like he had kneepads under his pants but now with actual ones on they make a big difference,i think anyway!:wink1:

Yea pretty much except that the BH head has this flip at the top.

but more faded like this, instead of the dead stop paint app they have on there.

I'm gonna give that a try.
You mean gradually go from short to bald, right? You know i actually had originally done something like that but i noticed that one side looked a little darker so it ended up like the finished product that you see in my PICS.GOOD LUCK with it!Just so you know i used pastels(Black and also Raw Umber)for the sides and face. You can control the depth of shade with your finger by rubbing the color in.Well that's the way i do it anyway.I hope that helps!:wink1:

Yea, I've heard of those pastels, I'm so much comfortable with a brush and acrylic though. I've been doing this layering method with the skin tones that has been working out pretty well so far, well at least with Duke and Flint it has and my latest customs.
