The thing about Sideshow's Joes is that they produce only so many then stop. Even giving edition numbers!(kinda cool) They did produce another Snakeyes but it is different .Sideshow Joes are true Collectibles

I would have to agree on this :exactly:

SS openly declaring the edition size of each figure is a good thing, IMO.

Speaking of Beachhead, I saw one on display yesterday when I got my Lt Falcon, and I asked if I could buy it, not minding it being opened for display. Storekeeper said it's actually the storeowner's personal figure :(

Guess my luck ran out when I got to buy Firefly, MISB for only $130 last week.:gah:

I have been buying 2 since firefly....one to open, one to keep new

someday,I'll sell them when I need funds

With prices set to rise again and a whole group of collectors set to bail, that time might be sooner than later.

I don't see anyone jumping ship just yet.As long as Sideshow gets moving, there will ALWAYS be interest.Plus there is always interest in GI Joe,it has alot of years behind it

Yes and no. Clearly they seem to believe the market for Joes was growing with their edition sizes. The BOGO offer says differently.

Snoozed you loozed.

LOL...not me. I gots them all with the exception of one that is still available on the website and that I will be getting soon.

But I did want an extra Beachhead or two...IF I can find them for some kind of reasonable price.

There's a magic number for everyone that even with major characters like Destro and Bludd on the way and eventually Scarlett, there's a magic number for everyone where X is "enough".

I think thats part of the reason for some figs like RnR, CG and even Zartan are still available.

Also the higher edition size for Zartan and CG (compared to the Viper).

Also, higher prices can possible explain why some of these figs are still in the warehouse.

Was never really interested in 1:6th scale till I happened to have some extra money and got Firefly on EBay. Now, it's my main focus across the board.

^^^

My point is that the Sideshow Joe line is so great that by getting just that one figure it completely changed my collecting habits. I hope this line continues for a long, long time.
