Considering the twists and turns of this entire thread . . . I believe he may be serious . . . unless Khev is pulling a Zartan on us.

Well, I can only speak for myself but personally I think my posts stay on subject for the most part. If we all didn't joke around now and again this forum would get awfully boring. Making one off topic comment or making fun of a fellow member here and there is a far cry from derailing anything.....


Anyway Khev, if I'm ever out of line I'm sure you'd let me know.

One aspect I've always liked about the Joe threads is the general 'discussions' we as Joe fans can have and the fact that (flame wars aside), it's a place were we can get sidetracked while still grounded and ultimately it always comes full circle to the topic anyways. I'd like to think that you'd not only support that, but encourage it. Right now you sound like a MaulFan or a Neil (who's been surprisingly forgiving of late) who won't allow anyone's opinions or posts to go OT unless it's yours. It'd be a real shame if the Joe threads turned into a bunch of pissing and whining about a figures inaccuracies while the flipside argues that "it's a toy and nobody's forcing you to buy it" ____ because we're forced to keep every single post on topic.

So does that mean we declare everyone as sheep and praise the NWO? Or piss and moan about how Sideshow's dumping the 1:6 line because announcements aren't coming as fast as I want? Hey how about we post pics of obscure Joes and hope and pray Sideshow makes them, even though the threads not about that particular one! Or how about posting pics that only I think are funny? Or maybe posting "because it sucks" because I really can't add to the current topic. Or we can always _____ about how Sideshow continually raises prices with each Joe release. Personally, I'd rather see a thread filled with happy chatting that's slightly off topic (and bound and determined to get back on topic anyway) than pessimistic, negative bull____ that's bound to end in a flame war.

if its an offensive post..then by all means delete it. but don't use your power to censor members from saying "Hello" or "what college did you go to?". This has happened to me and karamazov80 recently. Give us a warning before deleting posts.....please.

A fair request and typically that will be the case (especially to someone who's new). Every so often a mod may miss something that's been underway for a while and do some hasty thread cleanup.

I was kind of hoping that the production blog would have shots of him tonight. But then I remembered that there has to be an imminent PPO on the subsequent Friday. So my guess is...PPO announcement tomorrow...pics a week from today.

Only thing I will say about the discussions if the topics get off beat to the point its a bit disgusting or crosses a personal line then I don't see the big deal. Thats how I approached things when I modded at Sandtroopers. Otherwise some joking and talking about things isnt a real harm.

I'm not sure he'll get a PPO. I think Flint proved a PPO wasn't necessary. Just make it TBD and newsletter him. Plus he'd come up a day earlier if he went up in the newsletter instead of a Friday PPO.
