Looks like a winner to me. I'm cool with them going with the all sculpt instead of cloth or a mix. If the final result looks anything similar to what we have in that PV pic we're good.

i sure wish ss stops doing sculpted masks. come on if every military manufacturer can do cloth balaclavas, you can too sideshow. you can do it!

The sculpted ones don't bother me. Though I prefer cloth like Snake Eyes.

I've yet to see one pulled off that looks good. Usually they all look like 1:6 balaclavas made out of 3" wool.

Also like the weathering on the rifle. But what is up with that scope? it looks like it has 2 seperate sections.

I also love the slight weathering. Gives it a more realistic feel. I believe one of the scopes is a acog or thermal the other im not sure of Cant wait to see more.

I think this is also the last figure since the line has run out of steam.

That would really be a bummer if that's the case. I have bought 2 and opened one and sold 2. Yes I own zero! I hated the SE's because of all the straps and mine figure was totally loose.

The SS I didn't even open, just sold him to a buddy in Amsterdam.

If this was truly it, I might think about picking them up again only because that would mean there wasn't that many. When you consider how many Joe's they could make and the money it would cost to collect them all....that's what kind of turned me off. Especially since SS seems to try and capitalize on the more popular characters without any real exclusive. For example, SE's with a punch dagger? WTF? Come one! Should have been Timber.

Sarcasm. Snake Eyes straps are adjustable, you can tighten them. And yea, the punch dagger was weak, but all the other exclusives have been nice.

1st is a regular red dot or actually, looks like an Aimpoint magnifier, 2nd is night vision, maybe a starlight scope.

Im going to guess SS went with the sculpted version to give it more detail and the look of a thick wool hood he had in the cartoon. I give them props for that.

That balaclava looks like ass. 1:1 fabric doesn't scale down well enough to pull that off effectively. IMO at least.

CLoth balaclava worked on my beachhead but i had to glue it and repainted it to give it a more sculpted look
