The "Y" harness would work. You'd just need to shorten it up to above his waist and pick up some pouches and a pistol belt to connect everything to.

He has the trooper pistol belt. Do you mean a second belt on top of that?

I'm not sure about pouches. I like how Chase's looks without all the gear. If I can hit something between that and the original, I think I'll be happy.

Yeah. You'll need a web belt with holes to connect the Y-harness to, unless it has big enough loops to go around the pistol belt..

It has double straps. It was the Major Konig harness (from what company? got me). One has a hook, and one has a loop. I got it around the belt, but there is more futzing ahead.

The Officer's cardart shows a compass just above one of the pouches on his harness so I assume the circle sculpted on the grey pouch of the original figure was meant to be one.

Actually. I believe its the timer of a bomb. After a closer look at the figure, I realized that the gray "pouch" on the officer is not a pouch at all, but its actually a TNT bomb.
