Is it possible his pants are on backwards? I wonder if you spun them around it it looks better than the red patches on the front.

Or can Sideshow be convinced to move the red to the inside of the leg like the inseam.

I was thinking the same thing. The original RAH card art had the red on the back.

I agree, but going strictly from the card art, the spit polished black boots would look nice.

Best of both worlds, give us a pair of clean and a pair of weathered boots, Sideshow.

They toned down the weathering on the 501st so I'm sure the Viper won't come out as the proto.

Yeah, they did change that sadly it wasn't for the better really for me personally. I liked the weathering I saw at Comic-Con better.

If the regular troops weren't weathered, the Viper shouldn't be either. I'd prefer they keep the line consistent so I don't have a bunch of Joes on the shelves that look like they're from several different companies. Thanks to the Pro upgrade, I already have that with Star Wars and I'm not happy about it.

They're always a bit behind. I'm sure Red Ninja will pop up shortly, though 2 is enough of red. I'm waiting for them to knock Duke down to $100, then do the 20% off on top of that. Either that or he will hit $26 on the Amazon site.

You'll find that most of Sideshow's EXs run the same price as the regular editions now. You have to order the EX's directly from Sideshow, which puts more money directly in their pockets. You can order the regular editions from other retailers that recieve a wholesale / retailer discount from Sideshow.

Chicky confirmed a while back that SSC wouldn't be doing NRDs for their 12" figures. Did the policy change?

So what you're saying is that you don't want to get your figure when released, you'd rather wait a couple of months after release because you don't want to pay 15$ or so when you PO??

I don't like being put into a position where I have to decide today what I might want or not want 6-9 months from now...and having to pay SSC for the privaledge of considering them in my budget. I know its hard to imagine, but I may have a need for $135 in 6 months that I don't know about today...such as if my employer decides to hit me with an additional 2% of my annual salary towards mandatory pension payments like they did last week.

I don't understand what is wrong with you people that you villianize some one who is either not as rich as you or not willing to rack up credit card debt for toys.

I dont know why they didnt stick with the original boot/shinpad/kneepad combination. I think that would look awesome, very riot gear inspired. I see the vipers as being crowd control or shock trooperish but the boots look ridiculous with the red accents and the kneepads are way too small.
