1/6 SSC Dengar Sixth Scale Figure

Here is a before and after pic. I gave him a light wash and more definition in the brow, and decreased areas. Repainted the lips and scar. Oh, and a light 5 o'clock shadow.

Thanks I use Model Masters acrylic. Hobby Lobby has them, for this wash I used Leather color.

But the repaint looks great! If you want to make the scar look less fresh/bloody and more dried/healed, you can add some blue to the paint. I was going for a "stitches just removed" look, and got it about 60% of the way there.

For those without Lopie's skills, for me doing the scar was WAY more difficult to get looking right than I thought it would be.

Dengar would drop the gruff facade and show you how he rocks that diaper he keeps on his head.


I love they gave him sideburns - very retro-1970's. I wonder if they saw a pic of the actor or just added that on their own.

Does anyone know if the hands on this figure are mostly re-issues of the Luke Snowspeeder hands? Some seem really similar, though there's some new ones.

that`s what I thought these were reuse of hands from the snowspeeder luke.
