love this fig. SS did a great job with him. I'm still just messing around with him. Haven't found a perfect pose yet.

Other than E-Bay or Amazon, this figure is not available at any other retailer or online retailer right now. I have heard that the regular version is "out of stock" at Sideshow for vendors to buy any more than the original order that they received. I am thinking that possibly due to some of the backlash that came with the original black masked head that Sideshow took a conservative route with the production numbers on Firefly..

Damn glad I got him when I did. He should be here tommorrow!

I was getting him either way, but really like the camo head sculpt.

Dont get me wrong, i am thankful for the camo head...but the solid black gives him such a sinister look. Hands down my fav fig so far.
I only collect the cobras so this was a much appreciated addition.

I dunno, 1500-2000 seems to be the ES for the Joes. I think it has more to do with the painted head making him more appealing to the masses that helped him sell out. Even without that, he's still a solid figure.

Yeah I have mine posed with the camo head, but at the same time the black head is so freaking awesome as well. It really does give him "darker" look so to speak...like hes not worried about blowing stuff up...hes out to murder people.

Here is my FF. I made him a crossed bandolier like the original figure had. I want to try and find small pouches for his right shoulder like my kitbash has. I still havent found a posse I like, though I might go with the original card art.

I doubt it, considering that every released figure released with a mask (all but Duke) had a completely sculpted one (or two). Honestly, I wish the Snake Eyes mask was fully sculpted. That thing looked horrible until I modified it, all bunched up under his chin and sticking out to the side.
