gohastings....pfffft. it's like the Walmart of the collectibles community. whenever people say they are waiting for gohastings i imagine some sweaty overweight couple with a BBQ stain on their white tanktops sifting through the giant clearence basket at walmart. a child is crying in the background. somewhere a dog barks.

That's funny. Because when I see thenammagazine and The Craw, I see them on their knees kissing the bare asses of the sculpters no matter how bad the sculpt is. You guys are the biggest ass-kissers I have ever seen on any board. As for gohastings, yes I buy Sideshow figures off of them for half the cost all of the time. Great place to buy clearance. Im not dumb enough to pay full retail for a bad figure.

It's not dumb to pay retail. Something is worth what someone is willing to pay. To me these figures well worth their retail price. The ability to maybe pick them up later for discount is just a bonus.

Totally agree. If I feel its worth retail I grab it if I don't I don't. Neither is a bad option. Don't see how anyone can see it any other way.

From time to time, yes. But if the collecting community in general developed this attitude into a permanent system...well lets just say that some of the doomsaying might just come true.

Just looked at the Zartan vs. Flint dio for the first time and Flint looks like he should be on a network cop drama. I like the face on the figure better.

I feel the same. Though the face on the dio looks good, it is a bit generic. The figure face has more character (not my perfect vision of Flint, but a nice representation nonetheless).
