Just cracked opened CC and if this is any indication of the new cobras ahead then YAY, cause I think this figure is freak'n awesome; I gotta get the baroness next, come on I need a sideshow code other than the 20th one...

Only thing surprising was there was no new stand; havn't been reading or keeping up with news but I thought these came with a new stand with a drawer, i see they are for sale on the site, do any of the new figures come with that stand or do they want use to plop 15$ at a time for those; they are tempting;

Im thinking CC, baroness, Destro and SS displayed with new stands and the back of the box (figure art) framed on a lighted shelf will make for a great display.

anyways, just loving this gi joe- hope everybody else is as pleased as I am

They are a business... deluxe stand with a draw for spare parts you have to pay extra for... its not for me but I can understand their thinking.

That's a bad business move; I don't think they'd sell.

They will... the mark up on those will be huge, very cheap to produce. The kind of collectors on this site are a tiny fraction of their market...

If you say so; I feel like the Joe line doesn't get enough resources and love from sideshow, unlike Star Wars. If you catch my drift. But hey, they gotta make money. Star Wars is a cash cow.

I'm dumb. I just assumed since it was an old SS, that is was out of stock a long time ago. Now I have to save up some cash. Thanks for the heads up.

OT, but this might be useful for other folks from HI--no Paypal option for me because SSC can't provide accurate shipping info to Paypal due to the location which is required to authorize the transaction. I did request for them to try and use Paypal to send invoices, but not sure if that's really feasible for SSC's billing/shipping model.

Sigh. I will just have to wait for Flexpay if/when that happens...
