Someone in the Molecule 8 thread posted an e-mail from them where they confirm that they have the BTILC license...could all end up going nowhere...but if this company turns out to be legitimate Sideshow may want to rush to get theirs out this year...

Yea, those same screen grabs have been posted here and on facebook ad nauseum. Doesn't mean anything until they release some product. :dunno

Richter and Rauch totally intended to make a second movie, but they had major problems with the studio exec, and the movie bombed hard when it opened.
I used to hear the Banzai-BTILC thing all the time, too, before the internet. Totally thought it was true, myself, until I went and heard Richter give a talk a few years ago. Turns out the only real connection between the two movies is him.
This is about how the script for Big Trouble in Little China was developed. It's weird and fascinating and I totally recommend any fan of the movie read it:

This is also a pretty interesting read, about the Jack Burton character this time:

Two great articles. Thank you. After reading the names in the cast, I can't believe I never heard of Buckaroo Banzai. Sat down to watch last night and really wish there was a second one to watch tonight lol.

Watch it again. I promise you there's stuff you missed.

Buckaroo Banzai is so underrated, it deserved the sequel it never got.

Same can be said for Remo Williams: The adventure begins! ...and ends!

I had to get this one locked in. I mean, I have the Funko's for this movie. That's about all exist as far as collectibles go.

YES! I saw Remo Williams once and really liked it, another missed opportunity for sequels.

When I was probably around 10 or 11, going to West Coast video with my mom ever Friday and she would always grab one for her, let me get a video game and always have one movie she thought I'd love(she was never wrong). Remo Williams is one of those movies. And now my hunt for a Chuin funko figure begins!

Reminds me I need to finish up my Buckaroo
