Those that are worried about the standard black base, you can always try and pick up one of the Coomodel Werewolf bases. Would work great for Jason.

For me its important to have a removable mask. Although I will never display him with out it, its always good to have that option.

It would be cool but not a deal breaker for me. In my opinion he should have the bag mask too as he starts with it in the third film before getting the hockey mask. I wouldn't be surprised if Sideshow is saving it for a separate release though. They could either repackage this or just do a version from the second film.

I think that should be a whole different figure. Only because he switches clothes at the beginning of the film. From overalls and blue flannel, to a green button shirt and grey pants. But yeah that would be nice to have a couple of different outfits.

I am in...always wanted this one.....and looks great. I too think it should have a removable mask....seems like a really strange bad weird choice not to?

What would be under the mask???

It's a great base. I just got my second one to use for Jason. My first I'm using for my Raiders Indy. I'm playing with the idea of getting a third to customise into a snow base for the SS Wolverine coming later this year too.

The mask looks removable. They're just making us wait to see what's under it. This really deserves diorama. It wouldn't be too hard to sculpey a dock or something for him.

My guess is if the mask isnt removable, it's why we are seeing a lower price point. Solid paint work is a major contributor to overall cost to produce. I personally don't care if it comes off. It won't ever be that way on my shelf.

Price is where it should be for this genre and franchise and I agree that a finished sculpt should be able to be fit into this price point (why do I have the feeling that it's not though?)

Still have some gripes about it but it looks good overall and will be a solid set if the mask is removable.

Not having a finished sculpt would feel like a step backwards to me and be disappointing. If I'm not mistaken, didn't all the old ones masks come off?

No removable mask or alternate head sculpt. Dealbreaker for me. Though the price is okay, it would feel incomplete to me. Gotta pass.
