I can't imagine they'd really be satisfied with the Luke sculpt they have. Although I'm having a hard time remembering the last time SS ever tweaked a sculpt...

Yeah, I just think 3-4 sculpts in a row saying this makes it sound like it's just an email error. Delays happen all the time but tweaks are pretty rare.

The email stated 04/05/2017. So I was thinking May the 4th be with you.

This will be the rare occasion that I purchase a sideshow figure, mainly being sticking to hot toys. I'm looking forward to it as the orange will look great with the other figures

I am most like getting this figure too as long as the head sculpt is decent. I will use my saved up rp for this figure to make the price more reasonable. Should be under $150 for me after some of my outstanding rp hit my account.

That's what I plan too. This figure will be worth it to me to pay almost HT price. I've only got about $40 in rewards right now but by the time this releases I should have more to knock it down.

(They overprice certain figures to get people to use up their reward points so they don't cost Sideshow anything!)

Definitely waiting to order this one, but I always feel like the figures that seem likely to get a steep discount aren't worth using rewards on. Thinking of the pilot Luke and Maul that both were eligible for the $50 discount. Hard to predict which figures these days won't see steep discounts though.

They won't. Too close time in time. Seems like 5 years from release to release for the same version (movie) of a figure.

I've already got the SS X-wing Luke so no rush to add this one to the collection just yet.

As Darth Fok mentioned, the orange flight suit looks fantastic within the black and white of most of the other Star Wars figures.

I've decided to pair up my figures for display. At the moment I'm thinking R2D2 needs a pal. I know C3PO is the logical choice, but I've never really been a fan of his cheesiness and annoyingness. (that's just me). So anyway, I'm thinking a Luke + R2 combination wouldn't be bad. If I really wanted to go all out I could add Yoda to the group to recreate the Dagobah scene.

Does anyone know if Luke actually wears this same Snow-Speeder Flightsuit to Dagobah in his X-Wing ?

Awesome then my plan works !

I think I read there is an Asian Toy convention coming up relatively soon. Perhaps we'll see (new ??) prototypes of him there, hence the push back in production release timing ??

Just a thought / hope.....not sure when the show was though. I could be wrong.
