But won’t the clothes fit worse on a smaller body? The clothes already look a bit too goofy. I think putting those clothes on a smaller body is going to make him look really dumpy.

I too switched out the Hoth Han to a taller pro body (I didn’t get Hoth Luke) and he looked MUCH better. Almost as if the clothes were tailored for a taller body! Hmmm…

That truly has got to be one of the most idiotic things Sideshow has ever done.

IRRC most of the Hans were on short bodies and most of the Luke's were on regular ones... but there was some inconsistency there. I do think they intended for them to be on the appropriate bodies; but some kind of QC issue occurred.

And, it's a definite possibility that the Luke will be off on a different body... generally I've found swapping between figures isn't too much of an issue; but if this body is especially tall or thick then it will not bode well for a swap to a shorter/thinner body. I for one am not planning on buying this one anytime soon, so hopefully by the time I do others will have tinkered with it extensively.

just put him in a somewhat squatted pose, that will help. i know there is a lot of disappointment but the helmeted version of this figure, sans the BBQ mitts, is really a great figure.

I plan to body swap to a DX07 body which was already too tall, so hopefully there is not a big change as far as clothes size goes.

Also plan to display with DX07 boots and as a Dagobah arrival Luke. So there are possibilities to use a squatted pose....

Me too! And now I've got three kids, a mortgage, and I play with dollies instead.

Going back on topic, the jacket looked a little short in the video - it was obviously tailored to a smaller body than, er, the one they used for the production figure - so I'm hoping it'll work on the stormtrooper Luke body/ wing flight suit I've got ready. I'm hoping that if I sell all the other garbage in the box - i.e. everything except the jacket - I will more or less break even.

Same here! Looking forward to checking this out with my own two eyes and hands. I can compare him to the SS X-Wing Luke and other HT figures. I will say though, I have Finn and Rey and the incorrect scale between the two doesn't bother me much. Hopefully it's the same here.

Mine too. I need to be able to look at this with my own eyes and in natural light. From what I've seen I'm hopeful that with some futzing it will be a very nice piece to have in my collection
