You're right. I would love to get this representation of Luke and had just hoped it had been a bit...well a lot more accurate considering its price. What actually bothers me more after seeing the video review is I would not be able to put this in a seated position, not even close by the looks of it. I'm not sure a body swap alone will fix that.

Yep, I initially wanted this but that price is high. I was going to use RP on it but used my rp on han in stormtrooper disquise instead and after seeing the youtube review it really turned me off on the figure at that price. For that price they should have gave a better stand base and the grappling gun.

There you are Darnell you rebel you.

I did exactly what you said. I put Star Lord on pre-order. Far better price, better sculpt, better accessories. He's just better.

Am still thinking about making my own Luke Snowspeeder figure.

Smart movie.
I used a ton of RP on mine getting it down to $144, and even I'm having regrets spending that much on this.

When I placed this order I knew it would be a gamble but I went for it anyway. That being said, I've never had any major issues with SS figures in the past. I take negative reviews on figures before I purchase them with a grain of salt. Most of the time I'm pleasantly surprised as the figure looks different in hand than it did in pictures or video reviews. Granted, the height issue is pretty noticeable and a big flub on their part but I don't plan on posing him next to someone who should be taller than him. To each their own though and I can't fault someone for wanting perfection at this price point.

I'm mainly looking at the height problem and how difficult it will be to fix it. You can just transfer the clothes and head to another body but then the clothes might not look right on that smaller body and need to be mended. I've got a bad feeling about this.

They did the same thing with the Hoth Luke and Han... luckily it was easy to swap the two, but so bizarre that I had a short Han and tall Luke. This time it's just a tall Luke and I'd almost bet the body they're using is the same one used for the AT-AT Driver who is also really tall; even taller than the Tie Pilot or other 1/6 Troopers.

But won’t the clothes fit worse on a smaller body? The clothes already look a bit too goofy. I think putting those clothes on a smaller body is going to make him look really dumpy.

I too switched out the Hoth Han to a taller pro body (I didn’t get Hoth Luke) and he looked MUCH better. Almost as if the clothes were tailored for a taller body! Hmmm…

That truly has got to be one of the most idiotic things Sideshow has ever done. :duh
