Although I'm late to the party on this, I felt like b*tching for a moment. Let's break this down: $270 plus approx. $20 S/H so $290 total... For this?? Unless SSC decided to start completely from scratch (why?), 2/3 of this figure's parts would be recycled from Hoth/X-Wing Luke figures. Disney was calling the shots when those figures released, as the logo plastered on their packaging reminds, so am I missing something here?

I think it's Sideshow's last 1/6 figure before they move to their Premium Format sculptures "only" direction. So try to capitalise what they can. Just my opinion.

I don't know, with all their recent horror and comic book figures it seems like they're still pretty big into 1/6. Unless it's just SW that they're trying to get away from.

I have the feeling they are giving it over to Hot Toys, as they can't compete. Which is a bit of a pity really, would have probably meant more figures per movie in the end having two companies working on them. But of course, that's just speculation on my part.

They JUST designed a new figure body they're using on ToD Indy, Ash and Jack Burton. I can't imagine they're doing that much R & D if they're doing away with that scale.

Plus they could go pretty deep with their new Marvel line.

The fact that sideshow did not release one 1/6th figure from The Force Awakens was really telling. It's just like they knew they can no longer compete with HT. I think my last sideshow figure that I ordered was the Scout Trooper and that feels like ages ago.

Sent from the Death Star communication division.

I rarely buy Sideshow now and I was there from the start with Jedi Luke. I really want this Snowspeeder Luke so I'm hoping the delay is them improving on something. Other than head sculpts I think Sideshow are up there with Hot Toys.

I have one payment go so can't wait, please don't mess up the figure Sideshow.

I love how awesome the pre production photos look only to be nothing like that in hand. Reminds me of Plenty o Fish!

Has anyone figured out if the jacket is removeable? I would like to pose him in a Dagobah landing look.

I actually want this to turn out good as this would be a cool figure. Still wish it wasn't so much but I'll probably get it if it looks decent. I'd also like Sideshow's Han in Carbonite despite it being way over priced for what it is.

They would need to add a recently unfrozen han to the carbonite release to make it worth what they are asking.

Just checked the release date for this - June. ****! 15 months after the PO, and probably nearly two years after it was initially previewed.:gah:
