I plan on replacing those with the metal bullet belts.

I will as well.
Where are you getting yours? I think the slightly oversized Dr. Figures belts are the only affordable option right now.
The four metal 7.62mm belt options are:
  1. RMC; in scale and originally affordable, 30 rounds (sold out everywhere)
  2. Barrack Sergeant; in scale and highest quality and available ($15 for only 25 rounds, it'll cost a fortune to buy enough)
  3. Dr. Figures; affordable and easy to find, 50 rounds (inaccurate looking and oversized)
  4. Playkid; in scale and you get 50 rounds (harder to find now and a bit overpriced if you do)

Expensive!

It's not too expensive. The Dr. figures belts can be found for $10, RMC used to be $10 too.
For each belt you'll need about 75 rounds (the number on SSC's Rock 'n Roll belts) so three Dr. figures should work though I think the realistic number of rounds that should be on each belt is 100. So that's either a $30 or $40 upgrade.

To go the Barrack Sergeant route will cost ya about $90 for two 75 round belts.:thud:

Got my R&R today. The EX head is a must! The regular head looks so much younger and unexperienced. Its like his original enlistment photo and the EX is him now, years later and hardened.

Hes one of those figures where he almost has too much gear, so he looks really weighted down. But he just looks all that more bad @$$ because of it :rock

I really can't wait for Zartan next month! :drool

Nothing special but this is how I plan to have mine for awhile.

Shatty camera I know....did the best I could with it.

Stupid Effin Bullet Belts dont wanna stay together!!!!!!

I had a problem with them at first too. If you notice in the pics I posted the belts are under the backpack too :lol I was in such a hurry to take pics that I didn't futz too well. After I undressed the figure to take a pic of the buck and took my time putting him back together I was able to fit the belts over all the harnesses and webbing with no problem. I would suggest doing that if you haven't already of course.

He does require a complete strip down. Still dunno what to do with the belts though. Had him all set up too the pics...moved him to another part of the shelf and pop one comes undone. While trying to do it back up the other one came undone.

Shy of throwing the thing across the room...I'm considering using a spot of loctite.

I got these for my John Marston custom: https://www.war-toys.com/herbertzellermg37ammo.aspx

Kinda pricey with 3 belts for RnR, but I guess it depends on what size shell fits the gun cause I have no clue. :lol

I think that's a 7.92 round belt, it's very similar just a little larger then 7.62 and should look fine as long as you don't try and put it in the rifle (I doubt it'll fit).
Can't wait to see pics!

Awesome pics Adrosi. Even if it is a shatty camera. Can't wait to get my R&R Wednesday :yess:

Thanks,

You shouldn't be disappointed...if you have the exclusive at least. I really dig the new buck. Hopefully this is the default for most of the upcoming 1:6s. The detail on his guy is off the charts.

I got tracking on mine, due friday, I'm off that day too:yess: Can't wait to get him, I'll post pics of him next to his hof version:wink1::lol

I'm busy laughing at all the freaks in denial about their DX09. :lol

Oh boy that dx02 thing all over again:slap I never got that one because of all that issue, but I do really want the keaton batman:( It looks like they used somekind of vinyl this time that looked promising:pfft: Well maybe the batman returns version will not have this issue.....maybe :panic:
