Without the vest he looks pretty close to 88 version in some shots. Obviously he needs the claw. If he comes it it's really stupid that they didn't shoot any pics of it.

You're right and I did have that one, but I quickly lost interest in Joes that year. Still you'd think Hasbro would've come out with a Red Ninja long before then, after all, they were in the acclaimed Silent Interlude issue. But no, Hasbro wanted to make Battle Force 2000. :cuckoo:

I really thought those guys were cool back in 87. :lol

Either '85 or '89, might as well been never since I'm not from Argentina.
I got the feeling that the Joes made in India and South America weren't really based on anything other than just their version of a mold with whatever they made up.

Before Ebay I ran across a few of them at my LCSs and thought it was cool that they had a Red Ninja. Didn't want to bite on their prices though. And yeah, he's essentially a V1 Storm Shadow variant.
