SSC The Joker 1/6th Scale figure

Had pretty much the same ugly sculpt the bust has and people are loving that.

I think the bus looks fine...something about it works for that scale, but it didn't transfer to 1/6 well so I'm glad they decided to rework it. Bats was the only one that didn't wow me like the others did.

...Do we know if Sideshow are planning any New 52 versions.

I think SS has mentioned but also said they want to get out more classic designs first.

Well I caved in and ordered this. Not sure if I'll definitely keep it or not but didn't wanna risk missing out on the exclusive. I'm actually not crazy about either of the head sculpts but the rest is great, outfit looks good and the laughing fish. LOVE that story so that alone was making me want this.

It's kind of funny the laughing fish were actually sort of a selling point for me on this figure too. The Joker figure itself is pretty cool but the laughing fish story is one of my favorites and one of the more memorable Joker stories.

Haha, yeah when the figure was finally revealed I wasn't really blown away but as soon as I saw the laughing fish I was thinking "hmm, that is really cool" lol. A I said, not sure if I'll definitely keep my order or not but just didn't wanna pass up on getting them. One of my favourite stories in both the comics and the animated series.

Thinking about picking this guy up.... did SS ever confirm other characters? Or is this just to check interest?

I'm pretty sure they're doing more characters. They had prototypes at a con last year. I'm sure we'll at least see a few more characters. Jus hope they improve from the prototypes. I thought the batman looked terrible. Superman and catwoman both looked really good though.

There will be more. SS has said that Baroness will be the first figure released on the new female body and from what I've heard over in the Baroness thread, SS is reworking the body (and a few other things with that fig) so it may be while before we see the females that were on show at SDCC. But that makes me wonder if they're also reworking the new muscle body that they have Sups and Bats on. Either way, I'm more than sure we will see more figure in this line

Man... I'm trying to figure out if I want to collect this 1/6 line. The Nolan ones were a no brainer as I loved the movies, but I never grew up getting an opportunity to read the comics. But these designs look awesome! Problem is... do I try out Premium Formats or stick with 1/6?

Anyone getting both the PF and 1/6? Anyone else having the same dilemma?!

Well I bought the Joker PF off a boardie here... Should be able to get him sometime early next week. If I'm blown away, I'll start getting the DC premium format line. Also got the Enterbay 1/4 Joker from another boardie coming in as well. Gonna see which, if any, excite me. May keep both, one, or none! Definitely never abandoning the 1/6 line though! Just hard for me to decide if I should also get the 1/6 comic DC line IF I do pick up the PF line. Ugh...

Maybe 1/6 for movie characters?
