I guess it's crazy until you or your loved ones needs something plasma provides. I started doing it because it's right down the road from where I work. I keep doing it because it's a nice second income for vacations and yes, statues....and the added bonus that it helps others of course.

Watching the Netflix show is really bringing me back, I'll wait till after SDCC but might pick this up. Hopefully the RP & $20 shipping deal is still on .

Yeah, the Netflix show is pretty good. I'm hoping for a low ES on this, 300 - 500. Hopefully this will be sold out before sdcc. It's towards the end of July, right?

I'm thinking that given the price and the fact that it's not Marvel or Star Wars, the ES might go pretty low on this guy. I might even guess as low as 250.

That's wishful thinking fellas. Remember, this is coming from Sideshow... the guys that advertise, "Limited Edition of just 2,000!"

It's so weird that even 2000 pieces is not considered low as there are millions of fans.

I can't judge how low a limited edition count should be but even at 7500 Vaders it just seems so low compared to the number of serious SW fans.

As far as Voltron I bet the round up to the nearest 100 over the pre-orders. You would think if someone hasn't ordered it in a few months what's the chance the extras will sell plus the longer you wait the less payments you can get of course I'm sure you have at least till the first flex payment starts in November to get all 8 payments.

I'm not sure why it seems 8 is the magic number, I wish they just started now and gave us 4 more payments at less each.

They should allow us to make extra payments at whatever amount we like. It's not like they need someone to count it all its automated lol

I agree with you, Phastroh. You made some great points. I'm not sure if maquettes generally have a lower ES than PF's, but I hope they do. I just think at this price and that its Voltron, the ES will be low. I was shocked when that IG88 had a 2,000 ES. Good luck selling them, SS.

Granted there are a ton of Voltron fans out there (myself included), but how many are seriously willing (or allowed by their other half haha) to open their wallets 4 figures deep to bring him home.

I agree, I like the SS version ALOT more than the traditional. They really did him well.

The new Voltron from the Netflix Series has really grown on me too. I dig the refined look. Would love to see a maquette of it in the future.

There's a rule in the house with me and my girl friend, if we can buy something without damaging our finical well being, then the other can't complain about it lol Luckily this piece doesn't come out for another year so I have time to save. The only hard part is that I also want the Ultimate figure coming out this fall which is another 400$ lol
