great, great figure imo and one of the best i think i have picked up in a while (along with rock & roll and the punisher avenger figure). head sculpt is freaking awesome.

That's what I'm talking about--only using the mask itself (no black mold underneath) it won't stay completely shut. Even with no mask it won't shut. It just doesn't shut and stay shut at all
you got to wear in the hinges a little just a few times back and forth and it shuts easier

I had a hard time futzing that hood but if you invest the time in it, it will fit right.

I think the stock hood is fine. Just needs to be dark maroon.

it'll work and will hold the shape pretty well.
i don't think anything is wrong with the stock hood other than i would like it do be darker. i started to dye mine but it wasn't dark enough the first go around and then i stopped to port z over to the muscled true type i got yesterday. will probably mess with the hood again tonight.
I got a regular version yesterday, and the regular was not shipped in its own brown shipper with his name, etc. printed on the side. It was just shipped in a generic Sideshow box like you get when you order Truetypes from them. Ex. had his own shipper. Kind of weird.
I also noticed that the little wire in his hood is actually poking through the side of my Zartan's hood. It's gold.

I've spent some time tinkering with it but at the end of the day it's not a detail I'm obsessed with having.
I dig the hood the way it is. Better than the promo pics at least.
Is that your second Zartan then?
Yes. Yes, it is. Zartan is worth it.
I think you should have at least four. One to display with hood up, hood down, Duke head, and bearded Qui Gon mask. Maybe even a couple extras for various bow, rifle, and pistol displays.
