It's a habit, I'm not really the best internetz user, lol. It takes me awhile to find my footing on a new forum.

I think Zartan is pretty much a perfect figure, all I'm doing is upgrading the body. I might dye his pants and hood, but I'm not sure. I'm only swapping his body out since I need a body for Duke and the TTM19 does fill him out nicely.

Yeah, I've seen some argue that it makes sense for Duke as regular Duke, but it doesn't work that way for me. Duke never had that kind of personality in the cartoon or comic (though he does look a bit sinister on his file card ). Flint works better with a smirk IMO because the original figure had a smirk, and the character in the comics was a bit arrogant and seemed to take more pleasure in inflicting pain on baddies.

Having said that, I've got the ex. head on my Duke, but I'm treating it as Zartan infiltrating the Joe team.

Yeah, that's the thing for me too, I keep seeing Zartan disguised as Duke. Their expressions are the same, down to the look the eyes have and everything. It's more like a composite of Zartan and Dukes faces, which is incredible. I just don't need it, since I'm happy with Duke as he is, and Zartan as he is. It's just an extra piece that would probably sit around.

I do like it though.

Correct Zartan's so much cooler than Duke that it's alright, though. Hopefully after SDCC I'll have another Zartan to add to my display.

So is anyone planning on using Zartan as a base for other versions besides ARAH? I'm starting to play around with the idea of some Resolute bashes but I don't think Zartan really needs to be changed. Some looks are just right from the start, but I'm curious nonetheless.
