Any suggestion on paint type, EF? I thought the acrylic type I was using would end up dull looking, but obviously that was not the case (and note that a flash was used taking the pic, so it's not really that shiny when you look at it). I'm thinking maybe to keep the shoulders glossier, but to dull the front and back armor up a bit.

Hit it with some Testor dullcote.

The Apple Barrel Black 20504 for $1 at Wal-Mart is what I used. I also use it on boots and stuff. Great stuff.

Not SSC related, but here's a cool item I picked up today:

Oh man... how much I love that figure. I need to pick up a carded one like yours. I have a swamp skier version boxed, another with swamp skier loose and a loose mint Z sans swamp skier.

Nice minty card, you have btw! :clap

Yeah, I still need to pick up a boxed version of this guy. FYI, this figure was never actually released this way (apart from the awful Funskool version). I got one of these and just applied the bubble to the card:

So, that's why the card is so minty :D

Oh!!!! That's right! It was never released that way.

I've seen the Funskool one too.:lol

Thanks for the link. I might get one. What glue did u use for the bubble?

Double sided tape! The guy who sells them has some video tutorials on Youtube. He suggested using tape instead of glue, so that's the route I went. You can see some minor imperfections if you look closely, but nothing too major. Overall, he fits in really well with legit vintage, carded figures:

That is very kewl. Same with the mail in Hooded CC.

I didn't look at the auctions, but he says restored. Guess he repaints the figures as well.

Yea I can see the vast problems it would cause. Are the repro packages marked that in any way?

If I still had some vintage unopened figures I would load up on them. LOVE the RAH artwork packages.
