Yeah, I was thinking that too. A few seconds would have been more than enough to finish that scene without having to divide it up.

usually it is a question of size. I know Imgur.com doesn't host gifs if they are too big. And they take longer to load if they are too long.

So gifs get divided for easier storage and viewing pleasure
