sad day indeed. the creator of most good things Marvel. i heard somewhere Marvel pays(paid) him like 1 million a year, which is great but when you think of how much has been made, it's like throwing him a penny.
 
A million is a pittance. Disney is notorious for being cheap as hell, but I'm sure the old fella is getting some good cash for his heirs. Signing what I'm sure is a multi-million dollar deal at 84 years old! Excelsior Stan. You will always be da man!:chew
 
Not that I believe Stan Lee didn't contribute greatly to the Marvel pantheon, but he's received all the Marvel money he deserves. Jack Kirby on the other hand...

Stan Lee parted with Marvel a long time ago, he even parted with Stan Lee Enterprises. I can't imagine what Disney will want him to do - did they produce his "Do You Want to be a Superhero"?
