Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Wow. Those both look fantastic.

Any chance we will see a new headsculpt soon?

No, not yet. Sorry.

Here are the pants I picked up today, she did a good job for the prototype, and I don’t think I’m changing anything. The uniform tunic is an old one I had made for another body that’s why it’s a little tight. I just threw it on for effect; it’s not the one for this run. I should have it next week.

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Okay, guess I don't need to do boots after all.Looking better than good...they're GREAT! As to they number of active Trek thread and projects, this is the 45th anniversary of the shows original broadcast, so why not...think about what it'll be like when we get to 50!...PS

(I might have new pix soon;Ari wants to get the eyes done this weekend!)

Awwww, I was looking forward to your boot idea.

Spenser, how will those boots attach to the body?

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Don't worry, I haven't abandoned it; just waiting for another project to try it with. Am I seeing right...are those pants...fuzzy?...PS

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Do you still sell these headsculpts? Is it possible to buy complete figures?

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

And speaking of head-sculpts, here are my set with their paint jobs complete(mostly)...

the stoic Science Officer

the noble Physician...
My wife, the talented Arianne 02, did her usual exemplary job on the eyes(she's much better at them than I) while I did the hair, which ended up needing 3 custom mixes. Now we wait on Spenser(no pressure, man)...PS

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

I'm throwing money at the screen but nothing is happening. How do I get those complete figures, do I buy the headsculpts from here and try to get the rest of the parts by myself or how does this work?!

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Wow! What've you been hiding in a coffin or something? :D

If you read thru the threads all is explained. At this time headsculpts are available. Uniforms and accessories are being worked on. There is also Trek coming from nanjin and WGP. I suggest reading ALL the Trek threads.

Hahhaha yeah will do! I'm new to all of this, to the forum and collecting statues and figures. Saw the Kirk headsculpt from WGP. Looks great but it comes unpainted and I can't frickin paint! LOL :slap

Fantastic work!
I like the different bodies as well, I did that myself, although I used a classic TT for Kirk, a Soldier Story (if I'm not mistaken) for Bones and the Buck for Spock.
A piece of advice: the Buck doesn't work too well. I used it with Nanjin's clothing set and the Buck just doesn't look natural, not even for Spock's rather lanky frame. I'm still debating on which body to use.

Hey,

Sorry not doing full figures this time, It’s too time consuming for me to do right now. Yes these heads are available painted and unpainted and uniforms and weapons will be ready in the near future.

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Oh yes please point people away from my thread, I love that. WTF Dude! :lol:lol

I'm... just... gonna... ehhh.. what's that..? :horror LOOK OVER THERE! *runs away to the other Star Trek threads*

See it's already started! :panic::gah::panic:

My apologies, Spenser. I wasn't trying to point folks away, just trying to let him know ALL that was out there.
I have fallen deep back into Trek and have and will be getting Trek from ALL the sources.
Just can't get enough.
drac, please don't read any other threads until you've read and ordered from Spenser. :monkey3

Hehehe I was only joking! :lol

All of these artists offer great star trek customs, what I am looking at now is how I can get them complete with weapons and accessories. There are like 150-200 pages to read through of the Star Trek custom threads... if someone could maybe point me in the right direction? :monkey3

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Boots look great Spenser! The ones from Nanjin were very nice; but these look a bit better scaled being fully sculpted.

And the pants are very nice as well... looking forward to seeing the rest.

Re: Star Trek TOS head sculpts

Speaking of the other threads, are you going to do a women's uniform? The one head I would like to buy from WGP is Yeoman Rand. Naturally I would want her dress to match Uhura's in colour.

Usually I make my own outfits, but I would definitely like to buy your outfits on this project to save time.
