I'm not interested in Tom Selleck from Blue Bloods.

Next year is the 40th anniversary of ESB. I think they’ll do something

They’ve ignored every anniversary so far, including May the 4th or celebration events. There is really no rhyme or reason to what they do. I scoffed when people suggested there wouldn’t be a hot toys release until sdcc back in April. Now it’s a reality. Sdcc this year will be telling. If Star Wars Is shown with a bunch of new prototypes that have a realistic chance of getting made, all good. If it’s a rehash of the 25 prototypes we’ve seen forever trotted out at every con, or worse, it’s only marvel city on display, we’re doomed...

I’m just trying to stay optimistic thinking the first half of the year HT is focusing on Marvel and then switching gears the second half to Star Wars. I sure hope that’s the case and not a worse scenario.

It is concerning though that we haven’t had a preorder in months and they’ve ignored May 4th, Celebration, and even the opening of Galaxy’s Edge.

They will definitely keep making Star Wars figures. I just feel we will never get those great background characters like greedo or rebel troops. We will always get different incarnations of Vader, luke, and stormtroopers. It’s the minor characters that I would love (Death Star trooper) and the slowdown kills that. I’m sure jango, Sidious, and rotj Vader are soon, as they are figures easy to rehash.

Jyn Erso and K2SO are coming today from that Phillipnes toy store thanks to Captain_Trips recommendation, such a great news despite these hard times for SW, and I dont think we ever see the light of Baze either. At this point I just simply ask for their efforts to actually release previous shown prototypes.

I doubt it

I would love it if they timed releases for anniversaries, like when they could have revisited the Alien Big Chap for the 40th anniversary this year but let it drift by. I’ve resigned myself to not expect anything. Who knows, really. If they reveal some ESB figures at SDCC, that would be amazing and I’ll be overjoyed!

No there's usually at least three. Technically they're called "toy fairs exclusives" and are available at Asian events too.

Last year there were actually four:

They already announced the four. They’re up on HT’s Facebook page — iron man, spiderman, Stan Lee astronaut, and Two-Face from The Dark Knight.
