It's because of the tariffs. He has updates on his Facebook page if you are in his group
Yeah, figured as much. Just wasn't sure how Kit would handle balances.

Sounds like the tariffs will potentially be on orders from everywhere soon. Have a large order with PopCultcha too.

I'm mostly worried about shipping going wrong with expensive custom runs, items getting held up or lost or whatever.

If Kit raises the balance remaining amounts on already processed preorders, he should offer to refund the NRD to anyone wanting to cancel.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you preorder from him, he always gives you an amount remaining for an item after the NRD is applied. It would be unfair to raise the price without giving the option to cancel without a penalty.

Sounds like from another poster that he plans to honor the original pre-order price. But in fairness to Kit, a government imposing this kind of fee isn't exactly something that a business can anticipate during pre-order stage, and I agree it doesn't seem fair he should have to eat the cost. I would still keep my order if he had to pass it on to buyers.

Kit wouldn’t be raising prices because he feels like it. He’d be raising prices because the government decided to screw with the economy and now everyone needs to pay more for things. He’s got a business to run and a family to feed. You agree to the NRD when you pre-order and he shouldn’t have to give that back under any circumstance.
