The more you concentrate, the worse it'll be. Just turn your brain off if you want to get through it. I'll summarize the whole series for you below and try to give you some idea of what I mean.I just started Rebels for real this time I need to stick with it if i’m going to understand anything with Ahsoka.
It’s just that I feel like i’m watching Handy Manny.
I’ll concentrate more.
They were in grade school, still learning to read and write."Hey everybody! Wow, thank you for making me feel welcome. Where were you 20 years ago?"
"Then tell your dad to go...himself" *mic drop*They were in grade school, still learning to read and write.
Huh. I don't remember some of this, maybe I didn't watch all of Rebels after all. I thought some of this was in Clone Wars for some reason. The more you concentrate, the worse it'll be. There's a small Rebellion crew with a former Jedi padawan as part of it. This Jedi encounters an orphaned kid who is super strong with the Force (no, not Qui-Gon meets Anakin; no, not Obi-Wan meets Luke; no - dammit, jye - not Rey meets Luke... this is totally different, okay? The kid's name is Ezra).
Kanan trains Ezra until the kid has more mastery of the Force than Luke ever did in the OT (yes, you read that correctly; wait, what do you mean "saga plot logic problems?" Nah).
The crew meets Ahsoka (yes, also very powerful with the Force, wields lightsabers, and very much active during the time Kenobi and Yoda are hiding and waiting for a new hope to... ohhhhhhhhhh... eh, let's move on).
Ezra has to watch her duel Vader where she presumably gets killed. But this kid is so special (hmmm) that he opens a secret Jedi cave years later and finds time portals there. He plucks Ahsoka out of that duel with Vader and they both run back to their original timelines (yes, that's right, jye: there *have* to be two different timelines as a result now because a casaul loop alternative would be horrendous).
They have to run because they're trying to get away from Palpatine (yes, he's aware of Ezra and Ahsoka being in the time portal place. Huh? What implications? ... ohhhhhhhhhh).
Ezra Force-Skypes with Yoda (yes, the same Yoda who is hiding on Dagobah just twiddling his pecker because there are no special Force-powered potential Jedi left to train until Luke is ready). He also encounters Obi-Wan on Tatooine (yep).
At the end of the series, the kid outsmarts the most intelligent being in the galaxy, Thrawn, and communicates with hyperspace-capable space whales to transport Thrawn and an entire star destroyer into the Unknown Regions (yes, I understand that the concept of hyperspace involves technology opening wormhole portals which distort spacetime; yes, these are indeed *very* special space whales).
The kid and Thrawn are now missing in uncharted space, but Ahsoka shows up in an epilogue and recruits one of Ezra's crewmates, Sabine, to go hunt for him and Thrawn. Ahsoka has an owl with her. The owl is connected to a Force goddess who was part of a three-god order controlling balance in the entire universe. One of the times that Ahsoka died, life energy from the Force goddess was used to revive her. And because of how super special Ahsoka is (hmmmm... I see), the magic owl follows her around and even guided Ezra to save Ahsoka from Vader in that time portal place.
No, I did not make any of this up. Enjoy the show, bud!

Nah, IMO there's lots of good stuff in Rebels and don't see a Mary Sue at all. Ezra screws up, struggles, sort of drifts to the Dark Side at one point, thought they did pretty well with coloring the characters and giving them arcs. For me if anyone was drifting to Mary Sue it was Sabine at one point. And this is why I absolutely refuse to watch Rebels. Ezra Bridger is the biggest, most overhyped Mary Sue in all the history of Star Wars, he has no equal in undeserved magnitude. Compared to him, Ahsoka is Reverend Mother Helen Gaius Mohiam and Rey is Lady Jessica. Baby Anakin is a Confucian monk in his wisdom and battle prowess, leading his own Order at the age of nine and able to stop time with his thoughts. Compared to Ezra.
No, my opinion of Ezra is not high. Not at all. Its that suspension of disbelief thing again.
Well she lives all the way to TROS so her ending may be a long way out.Whatever Ahsoka’s planned future ending is, it will never top her getting taken down by her former master in an emotionally charged battle to the death inside of a crumbling Sith temple. They really fumbled that one.
People that haven’t watched the show seem to have some heavy criticisms of it .Nah, IMO there's lots of good stuff in Rebels and don't see a Mary Sue at all. There's hokum and fan service and questionable stuff, but pretty good arcs and some surprisingly heavy themes too. I was satisfied with the ending but Disney can't leave well.enough alone. And Filoni of course plot armors the unkillable Ahsoka in Rebels

Rebels is good and Ezra isn’t even the focus half of the time.
Was really put off by Ezra cowering off to the side while Ahsoka did the fighting.
Man up.
Then he outsmarts Thrawn. OH COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNN
