I like Clone Wars but for some reason I struggle with this show. I am only like 5 episodes into season 1 and I have trouble returning to it… this has been forever btw. I bought all the blu rays when they came out and 2x I’ve tried to get into it.
Is S1 drag the whole time and I can skip to S2 or does S1 get better.

S1 definitely lags in parts, but it finds its footing towards the end. If you wanna skip the "filler" watch these episodes from S1:
1, 2, 5, 10, 13, 15.
Season 2 is definitely a step up.
Agreed. Nothing has come close to the OT, but Disney has at least undid a lot of the damage done by the prequels, and brought back some of the fun and magic again. And given us some lively and dynamic characters again.
Only thing they struggle with is coming up with a good and original story that doesn't feel like a rehash of what we've seen before.
Cant say that the very logical expectations we had for BoBF and Mando s3 were "crazy." What I'd call 'em would be "baited and switched."
We were baited with awesomeness, and then switched to slapstick.
I truly hope Ahsoka turns out to be what Rebels fans want it to be, I am not totally devoid of a human heart - but bet one dollar on that outcome, I would not.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes (the second one a bit more than the first one). They really lay the groundwork to establish the tension between Ahsoka and Sabine. There’s clearly a lot of water under the bridge. The pacing is steady and deliberate, and I really liked how they started slow and turned it up a notch for the second episode. Overall, I’m really happy with it.
Really liked it, they did a fantastic job. And this is a series where it definitely looks like they spent a bunch of money.
Yeah, so far so good. Effects are good, story is interesting, and already an unexpected but perfect cameo so far. This is snapping up to be the winner Star Wars has needed. Start dumping money into Filloni’s movie already. We need that one to move forward. The others can be on the back burner.

Morgan, congratulations! You almost got them.
Baylan and Shin are fantastic. From the moment they show up they have an incredible presence. I'm hoping that they aren't wasted because the orange sabers, the callbacks to original jedi teachings and Baylan's line at the end of episode 2...it's all giving the potential of seeing our first actual dark force users who actually sit somehwere between the light and the dark which is a concept I've always enjoyed. I love their designs, and eagerly hope Hot Toys decides to make them. So much cooler than the inquisitors in Kenobi.
The Sabine stuff dragged a bit, felt like a lot of time spent in her room that could have been sped up a little bit for pacing purposes, but other than that, I found it to be an enjoyable opening two episodes, with a lot of potential. I feel like the direction and cinematography feels a lot more cinematic than the last few shows have which has definitely assisted in this feeling more akin to what we expect from Star Wars. So overall...very positive and I'm looking forward to next week!

Pretty decent so far but I gotta say, I am really not feeling Sabine lol. Which is a shame because it looks like it's about to end up being "her show". Everyone else is great though.
Fun episode. A lot more entertaining than Mando 3 and leagues ahead of Book of Bob Fettuccini.
I'm assuming they made sure it was in a place she wouldn't instantly die from, it was a bit to the side. At least I would hope they wouldn't do something like that without it being possible for her to survive.
Thought it was a solid start. A bit slower paced than I was expecting, but I still found myself engrossed in the story and had a blast seeing the Rebels world brought to life.
I couldn't help but wonder though what makes Thrawn worth THIS much time and effort to find. I know he's this great intellect but I never got the sense in Rebels that he was this immense, Vader-level threat. Especially given he was outsmarted by freakin Ezra Bridger.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Sadly, a breath of fresh air after Mando Season 3. I'm still not 100% on board with the whole Sabine Wren jedi apprentice thing. Seems kinda forced (hah) for the sake of the plot, but I'll wait to see where it's going.
