I enjoyed this one. I suppose those that love the PT and TCW would have got even more out of this but I liked it.
Ahsoka being more like Ahsoka we're used to by the end was nice. So it turns out she was emotionless, stoic and dull for plot reasons. Hopefully she'll be more engaging going forward. Seems she will be.
I found Hera better in this episode too. Not sure what it was but I liked her more. Still not as good as the animated version though.
The actress playing young Ahsoka was decent. She looked so young. It was quite shocking seeing her in the battles actually.
She fits though as Ahsoka was meant to be very young in TCW. It's just so stark in live action.
Hayden was good. Glad he got the chance to play Anakin again.
Lightsaber duel was good. Hayden is so good. Even all these years later.
Clones looked a bit weird. I'm used to the CG clones from the PT. The fit of the armour looked a bit odd. Loose and bulky.
Happy to see Rex in live action. Hoping old Rex appears somewhere in the show.
Not earth shattering but decent. Better than Kenobi or BoBF.
I loved Andor but there's room for this style of Star Wars too. And this style of Star Wars should be at this quality, not Kenobi quality. Do this more going forward Disney (I still want Andor season 2 and Andor like shows too Disney)

Yeah turns out we just had to wait until the next episode, as if this is some kind of show or something :lol

Yeah I agree, Hera had some charm in this episode for me too. Sold me on her a bit more. Maybe cause we finally got her acting motherly which she always did in Rebels.

Think you're right there. I enjoyed her interactions with Jasen.

I wonder why they don't want to train Jasen? I think the droid refusing to train him was just for laughs but it did make me wonder why he's not being trained.
He's demonstrated he's Force sensitive. The droid commentated on it. Fair enough it's not the best time for Ahsoka to do it but what about Luke?
Perhaps Hera simply doesn't want to be separated from him. Pretty reasonable.

I think it’s Hera not wanting to, given what happened to Kanan.

Jacen is a boy silly. :slap

The Force is Female, and females alone must revive the Jedi if a new order is to succeed. The new Jedi mantra is "No Boys Allowed. All boys are dumb, would eventually ruin the Jedi Order yet again, and will most likely give in to their anger and dumbness and become evil and turn to the Dark Side.

Starting to look forward to maybe giving this a go when it's over. I hope it continues strong and ends with a bang.

Wait so this is a continuation of rebels? I don’t really know much about that show. Didn’t know that annoying Ezra kid is missing or whatever. Never cared about him but it seems like this shows is a continuation of that. I only watched the Vader episode. Everything else I didn’t care. So I’m lost lol. Apparently he and thrawn are together somewhere and I had no idea Ashoka trained the purple haired girl lol. I feel like I had to watch that show 😂
I wasn’t much into the cartoons. Just a casual viewer from time to time but I didn’t want to be lost when Ahsoka came out so I used this chart to cherry pick the episodes. Some were actually really good. I enjoyed them as a whole for the most part.

Watched the episode, dozed off a couple of times after the
WBW bit. I thought the flashes of Vader overlaid on Anakin were well done, and enjoyed the dueling. The live action CW stuff looked even more goofy than it did in the cartoons regarding the complete lack of military strategy.

I don't find the show all bad, but I'm watching for the spectacle rather than the story because Filoni does little for me, and I find the writing weak. Also felt the absence of Baylan and Shin in this episode, who really add to the spectacle
The fact that Ahsoka was essentially a child soldier doesn’t really click until you see her in a war zone in live action as a child :lol
I've been saying this about Star Wars for years. The live action just reinforced it. The actor took me out of it almost immediately though ... it's Baby Gamora with different make-up.

So Ahsoka is basically Gandalf now? Fell off a cliff, was believed dead, went off to a mystical place, and came back with a power upgrade, and dressed in White. Not that I minded the reuse of the trope, but could they have been a little less on the nose about it?
Filoni gonna Filoni. Subtlety isn't his thing and his 'homages' verge on plagiarism at times.
Is it too late to have a live action Clone Wars movie with Hayden & Ewan? A onetime mission, battle, a rescue, anything? Would de-aging be believable for a full length feature?
I don't believe the de-aging now. It wasn't great, wasn't terrrible. And the voice is all wrong.

She did come across better this time.
