ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: In the trailer for season 2, we see Orson Krennic and Jyn. Are they going to be in season 2, or is that just teasing the run-up to Rogue One?

TONY GILROY: I'm not gonna answer that question fully.
Jyn in the trailer? ¿Where?
I mean I would love to see it, time-line would certainly allow for her to appear somewhere (though unbeknownst to Andor).
Though WTF are they on about in the trailer?

And then Gilroy instead of flat out saying no she isn't , skirts the question?

First 3 full episodes of Season 1 are on Youtube, for anyone that hasn't watched the show and is on the fence.

That's just sad. It's one thing when they air it on ABC or let it get put on Hulu since they own them to increase viewership. But free on YouTube is like a cry for help. Maybe they'll throw them up on ESPN too...

Disney must be desperate to get D+ subscribers. :lol

Likely has more to do with Disney + (repeatedly betraying two of it's biggest franchises and fans) shedding millions of subscribers over the past years, than anything wrong with the show.

Though Andor was always a hard sell, there are some who just won't tune in and can't sit through an episode unless they know it has an incoming lightsaber duel, spectacular armored warrior, or are cued by an I recognize that reference moment.
Gilroy's take, by design offer little to none of that for them.

Youtube has a much larger reach than whatever ABC is.

Okay, just finished Episode 10: One Way Out. It's been quite the binge watch so far. 😅

I thought the prison episodes would drag, but for me they didn't. The performances were great and the pacing was suitably tense for me, intercut with whatever was going on outside. Aldhani was the prelude, but the breakout on Narkina 5 is actually the first great act of the rebellion.

Loved the prison episodes (though I'm partial to prison break stories in general).

Watching the official recap of Season 1, I'm reminded of just how much ground was covered. While it didn't have any lightsaber duels, it sure had a lot to offer and all of it pretty damn good.
