While I don't like the game, it is surprising even to me that the numbers dropped so low, so quickly. Good thing for recent refund opportunities with regards to digital content.

You'll probably see a boost in the numbers for a week or so each time a DLC is released, I don't think we have sales figures for the season pass though so as you say, it depends how many were sold. And how good the DLC is I guess...

It may have bombed after the fact and be widely regarded as a missed opportunity at best, but it still sold something like 13 million copies so I doubt the big wigs will care about the criticism after the fact tbh. It's Star wars, and as this title has proven, people will flock to by it regardless unfortunately. I can't see them changing their business plan dramatically, I.E single player and way more content and depth to the game play in the next one, but I sure do hope I'm wrong.

I think if those numbers are true, it may force them to rethink their strategy for a game. I mean, while the game is a massive seller out the gate, those numbers show that there isn't enough depth to keep people playing. So if they rinse and repeat with battlefront 2, you can be guaranteed they'll see only a fraction of the sales that the first did. People will just go "why would I waste my money when I'll get a couple months out of the game before it gets stale. There's a reason that BF4 is still so beloved and has tons of players playing. Yeah, it did blow hard out on release but once they got all that crap patched and the content out, it became amazing. I've been debating for months re-installing it because I miss all the fun I had with it.

I really hope your right. I'd love to see them make a decent game for the next one, but EA will be EA... BF4 is an exception, and I'm with you totally. I would actually have rather they just re-skinned that for battlefront, at least the gameplay is fun. BF4 was a mess initially and I think that is why people still put it down as they played it in that state and never went back. In reality it is an excellent game! It has also been supported way more than I expected it to be, it is one of few occasions I purchased a season pass happily and feel like it was worth the money. It even outlived its intended replacement in Hardline which was another example of questionable value, it should always have been a DLC for BF4...

Yeah. As much as I wanted the original experience of battlefront 1 and 2 for this new game, after playing it, all I wanted was a reskinned battlefield. Give us the ability to MOD weapons, different appearance customization for characters. Plus give us gigantic maps. Not too much to ask for.

**** after playing bf4 for 3 years gimme a way to make stormtrooper have different colored armor pieces like the shocktroopers looking like PT clones. I want some blue 501st markings on my stormy dammit. Or at least a wind visor with orange markings to make Commander Cody. Gimme something DICE! Bf4 had emblems creator!

I've always found Dices appearance customization to be incredibly weak. I mean even call of duty has adopted it in their games. Even just different paint schemes for this would be awesome. Different colors and different designs. No, instead they give us friggin heads. Such a waste. I'm still using one of the default heads.

How's Bounty Hunter on the PS4? Any graphical enhancements or anything?

I plan on getting a PS4 just for SF5, and since I loved this game back in the day, I wanted to replay it.

The PS2 games are just emulated, renders at a higher resolution, though textures and stuff like that are the same

Well, it's kinda sad when you need to drink to enjoy something. What I mean by that is that the game requires alcohol to be enjoyable lol. They really bombed with the idea of aiming this game at casuals.

My words are right up there, and they didn't say I need to drink to enjoy something. Having some beers on a Friday night and playing for a couple hours with your friends online, it's fun. Go drink up and paint fence then if thats your thing. Or you can add me if you're on PSN. It's not perfect but it's still fun.

I'm not attacking you and if it came off that way I apologize. I just mean that the game just isn't as fun as it could be. Basically a fun for the first hour but after that not so much. Kinda like painting a fence so booze can make it a little more bearable. Sadly I'm on xbone. Our numbers on there have been dwindling fora while. Getting more difficult to find full games.
