It hasn't been officially unveiled yet.

There will be a TON of new artwork at CV by many artists. Probably more than the past 2 Celebrations combined.

Okay, booked both the flight and the tickets for CV.

I'm back in the Star Wars section, and ready. One question though.

What if the Lucas interview happens during the Freaks party? Hmmm...

Not much chatter in this thread. I'm wondering how long before the show we will know a schedule of events. Is it usually only about a week before the show starts, kind of like SDCC? I like to have all of my plans set in place, and try to only attend one or two insane-level events, if I can help it. Obviously I'm going to be waiting in line for the Lucas panel, so that day will likely be shot, and I'll get some reading done.

Really gearing up for this show, but I'm not finding a ton of information out there yet.

They're still working on putting the schedule together. Basically, it's a pretty big puzzle because they're having to juggle so many individual schedules.

I've only confirmed one of my panels so far, and that hasn't even been posted yet:

I'm in for the Lucas one of course, and I was hoping to have someone to share time holding a space in line so we don't spend all day waiting for the man. For me, the Lucas will be a once in a lifetime deal, as I don't see myself attending another Celebration. Never know, but for now I'm treating this convention like my one and only.

Now I just hope they don't do the panel on Saturday night during the Freaks party.

If it's anything like his appearance at C3, they'll have more than one panel with him (so as many people as possible can have a chance to attend) and they will start in the AM. I believe he did 2-3 of them at C3.

Oh, awesome, and thanks for the information Irish! I've only attended CIV, and only one day at that. So I'm truly looking forward to the full experience. I was thinking that since Jon Stewart was interviewing him, it would be a one-off panel. Just what I was feeling.

Well, it very well could be. But they did at least 2 (if not more) back-to-back panels with Lucas at C3 and they of course packed the house each time.
