Every time I browse around at rebelscum I become overwhelmed. I feel much more at home here with the freaks. That being said, I have now found out that there will be no photo op with both Mark and Carrie, so I think I will settle for simple autographs and not photo. Saving money!

Celebration V! I cannot tell all of you how excited I am for this show to begin. Still very glad I have two full days of down time at my Mom's before the madness begins. I'm finishing everything up today, getting my packing complete, and going to go over the schedule one more time before I print it out. Ever since I got to visit CIV for just the one day, I always said I would do this one right. Hopefully this goes off without a hitch, and we're all going to have an awesome time. I've got one packed schedule for the four days of the show, and I'm emphasizing all the free things to do, such as panels, Ralph McQuarrie Art Show, etc. If any of you see me in the vendor area with starry eyes, slap me and remind me I'm only in one suitcase. Oh and you could just remind me that my collection room is pretty full already. Can't wait for the Freaks party on Saturday night too. I'm going to be highly caffeinated.

Its really kind of a bummer that of all the guests, pretty much no one will actually look like they did on screen. Every single actor either wore heavy makeup, a mask, or is decades older than when they appeared on screen.

I'm really contemplating getting a picture or two with some of the guests, but to anyone who sees them it'll just look like I'm posing with some random people.

It would have been nice if Ewan, Hayden, Natalie, or SLJ could have taken a couple of days to say hi to some fans. It'd be cool to get a picture with one of the "faces" of SW while they're still in their prime.

That was actually one of the deciding factors when I ultimately decided not to get any froggy photos. The autographs will have to do for me. So yeah, many of the stars look quite different, the price for photos is high, and there is just too much other great stuff to do rather than standing in line during the show.
