This looks freaking hilarious! It's like a weekly version of the Robot Chicken specials. How can people not think this looks good?

It tries a little too hard. After every segment switched I feel like a "Get it? Get it?" sign should have been popped up. Robot Chicken was great because it was a legitimate project that poked fun at itself made by fans of the franchise, it was original (kind of) and definitely fun in the vain Robot Chicken itself was. This feels recycled and a "been there done that" kind of thing. I'm shocked it'll run a full season as the last RC special was straining at best to be funny.

Is this actually gonna be on TV? :lol

I thought it was an online only show

Star Wars has always been a big joke. If people took off their nostalgia glasses they'd see just how stupidly hilarious the original movies really are.
People need to chill out and grow up and laugh at this dumb franchise as Lucas intended us to. :)

But seriously... talk about lame. This looks like complete bantha poodoo.

Cause some people enjoy having a giant stick shoved up their......they don't want anyone else to have fun.

^ Have as much fun as you desire. Did I ever say this is raping Star Wars, did I ever say this is killing my childhood? No. It's just terrible awful humor. Simple, unimagative humor.

Star Wars parody show can't work. Every joke has been done. Either from Mel Brooks, to Seth MacFarlane, to Robot Chicken, to hundreds of movies, and thousands upon thousands of fan films.

Had this come out...lets say back in the late 90's or early 2000's, it could've worked. But with the internet, I've seen all those jokes before.

In my best of all worlds scenario, 'Underworld' (I believe that's the provisional name at the moment) would have writing about on par with Game of Thrones (obviously they'd tone down the violence/nudity, but it's not integral to Star Wars or great writing, so I'd be fine with that), and if that happened, I'm sure it would be a hit and not just watched by Star Wars fans, but actually bring in a new audience. Really they should to be able to afford the best and I'd bet there are a ton of talented writers, directors and actors that would at least want to contribute an episode, cameo, etc., to it just because it's Star Wars.
Wouldn't that be incredible... :monkey2

Minus the less nudity part. :lol

do we really need 2 threads? specially when the other one is here now?

Did you guys see the rest of the clips? They're not bad at all. Pretty much like Robot Chicken. If the main trailer is all you saw then I can understand thinking it's trash. That trailer is totally trying way too hard to be hip and young.

^ I've seen them all, and that's why I don't like them. I've seen them or jokes like them in Robot Chicken, and other various parodies.

Princess Leia is a stuck up rich girl, that's from Spaceballs. I mean, it's the same character.

there are 2 threads, I didn't know which one to post in, so I posted on both, since there are two threads

Two threads that were in 2 different places. Somehow they ended up here.

Thread A went to Star Wars. Which it was appropriate. And Thread B went here, where more people can see it, and comment on it.

Not sure why they put them both here. But whatever.

yeah I don't know if a Mod sent this one here why they didn't combine them, but now there are two different threads with two different discussions going, I am afraid posting in both might happen from time to time

Oh, my bad. What was I thinking, being a Serious Suzie? I meant to say.

Wow. Just. . .awesome. Doesn't surprise me that the guys at Lucasfilm think this is funny or hip. BECAUSE IT IS! :hi5:
