Why did this need a repost? You don't see people in the Red Dawn or Total Recall threads reacting as if their childhood has been violated by the existence of crappy remakes. And let's face it, Star Wars parodies have been around a lot longer than Hollywood's second stab at cult movies.

No one's stopping you from watching the old films and pretending they still kick ass. Because they do. "Detours" isn't going to change that unless you let it.
