What a mess RJ caused with EPVIII..

Maybe Snoke was meant to be Plagueis, as some theories suggested. But JJ had to retcon his original story to bring back Palps in order to bring back the fans RJ chased away..

This is a brilliant take! When she ignites her lightsaber she's looking away from the tie fighter - like maybe there's something coming from the other direction that they need to attack together?

It could be that she is training with Kylo. Since you would think the Tie would have opened fire on her.

Yeah I feel JJ is still right on track with whatever story he had originally planned, just with Palps in place of Snoke after his silly death. Everything shown so far seems to dismiss the direction TLJ was going in completely.

It’s like one guy was saying, Rian was even trying to distance SW from the Skywalkers, and... so much for that lol. They’re right in the freakin title now.

JJ was all "I'm gonna repeal and replace TLJ's Snoke theory, rip up the 'balance of the Force' deal (which is the worst deal I've ever seen) and all those OT/PT references that RJ said are gone and never coming back, I'm bringing 'em back baby!" lol

The only thing they didn't do was end the teaser with Broom Boy sitting in his room making his toys levitate, a pistol comes into frame and blows his brains out, then Deadpool turns to the camera and says "Just cleaning up the timelines, you're welcome."

since I loved Dark Empire and am not much of a Plagueis guy (sorry Prime Clone) I'm glad they went with the former.

Hey no dramas, I'm a huge fan of DE too and have now fully accepted it was probably Palps who manipulated the midichlorians. I'd just been living a lie all these years!

Also, until now I thought maybe Rey could be another Force creation, but if she is truly a Skywalker that suggests something more.
