You all owe Bam big time, she looked wiped out from that line when I found her passed out in the main foyer. :lol

Got three Fett autographs on my Trevas today so that's done. Have the coupons for Hamill and Fisher to sign my Walks. Should be a fun experience waiting in those two lines.

Wish me luck. :D

Good luck, last time I met fisher, she was almost 2 hours late.

Oh man I hope poor Bam isn't having to stand in line for 2 hours to get mine. She was able to reserve 2 of the main 3 I wanted.

She was working hard. Then I got her and paid for her stuff with mine to help her not have to endure the lines all over again. She was moving @

Trevas print is sold out, according to his facebook page.

Sold out as I stood next to him BS'ing @ lol.

Got all the prints I wanted!! :rock
The check out line was brutal like everyone said. I got in line to pay at 10 am and was out by 12:30.

Man we could have been next to each other

Acme really needs to do something about their line at the art show. Every Freak I know waited 2-3 hours to pay.
I dont think they were given many registers. I was there when some of the Acme people were talking about it and I think they got as many as they could.

They could pull a GG an just say were sold out 45 min later instead.

Pretty lame they had to know on average how many people would be there and be interested buying prints because that has to be one of their biggest draws.

thats very cool! I apppreicate her help and any help she got. Along with thinking is great that she got help getting anything she needed. Having been the one to help others at SDCC I know it can be difficult so :1-1: thank ya. :)

Last time I was in and out in 30-40 min. I know it got busy later in the day. The problem is sure they have a fleet of people but what is Acme going to do with these people when they nothing to do after the rush which is it sounds like it was. Standing in lines is a big part of getting any kind of exclusive item sorry 2-3 hours sucks but thats part of life at conventions.

I picked up the Dorman Celebration V print.

Since you all know what it looks like, I won't show the whole thing, but this is the remarque he did on it...

As promised I finally get to show off some art in this thread. I went out and picked up a fairly nice frame at Michael's for my Trevas, because I really need to start saving some money, and still have a backlog of other things that actually need custom framing. So I am grateful to Chris for making this a standard size. I will probably splurge on my other pickup from CV, the Walks because I invested so much time, energy, and money into the thing already. Go ahead and say "we know fury..." jimjimmyjones.

Did I mention I got edition #83! The demise of Boba Fett. I only wish I had picked up more of this one as it could have funded the entire trip to flip these.

So without further ado, I present my first Star Wars art framed and hung.

And Jeremy Bullock and a messy Daniel Logan:

And also Dickey Beer and of course Christopher Trevas:

Very kick ass!!!!

Thanks!

That scribble is Daniel's?

Well, the thing about that one is he really went out of his way to run down to Jeremy Bulloch and get a finer pen. Seems he was unfamiliar with the pen, as he had been using a much larger sharpie throughout the day. But he was gone to get this pen specifically for my print for at least a minute, then the volunteer announced to the line that I was the reason for the hold up. Pretty funny really. Like I've said before, Daniel was very entertaining in person and was keeping everyone laughing. I can forgive him for messing up a bit on the autograph, as he even went over it a bit. Right then I knew it was going to be a disaster.

But a beautiful disaster. Not like some of the other horror stories I heard concerning autographs at CV. Speaking of which, was anybody affected by the disappearance of the Princess on Sunday? She cancelled her panel and jetted on the autographs too. I'm wondering if people were able to get their money back.

I love this Trevas! :D

Yes fury ... WE KNOW !!!!! :yess:

:nana:

LOL.

:1-1:

Glad you got what you wanted bro.

18 x 24, and fits perfectly. Lots of selection of ready made frames in that size, so its nice to finally save a bit on this crazy obsession.

Yep, Michael's is usually 40% off or more. Mine was. I think it was like $36, so such a difference from the way I was blowing through money last weekend.

I looked for one with a premade matte, but the largest there was only 16 x 20. I'm cool with mine, but the twins are going to get the full custom treatment.
