Anyone heard of the 100 Thing Challenge?

Yeah, like that's possible! I have 8000 comics still, counted the items on display in the collection room and came up with nearly 30. Maybe a 500 Things Challenge for 'ol Stormy first...

But I was able to chuck two long boxes of comics in the garbage today. I don't know how I did it, but I felt like one of those hoarders on that show. I was getting the shakes, and everything. And these were just mostly useless comics sitting at the bottom of my front closet for the past five years in long boxes! I'm still waiting to hear the garbage truck, so I don't have to be afraid that I will run out and rescue them from the bin...


In other news: Be on the lookout for a massive sales thread any day now. I'm on school break and want to start paring down the multiple collections.

It was very difficult, and only the beginning of a massive project for me. Always have collected and I want to continue to collect, but only pieces that sing to my tastes. Anything in a box, that I've not seen for years perhaps, well, that's got to go.

It may be a side effect of sitting Zen so much lately...

I've done that multiple times now. Crap goes in the trash and decent stuff gets donated. If it's worth something, I make an effort to try and sell it here or on eBay.

It definitely feels good when you get rid of some stuff that hasn't been looked at in months/years.

I don't think I ever posted about this commission I had done by Timothy-Arthur McLaughlin. It's called "Palace Pandemonium."

I just got it back from the framers today. I've never used gold before, but I think it looks really nice in person.

awesome painting..............love it. tells a story in it's own right.

1. - lando wants nothing to do with yarna & is trying to protect his junk

2. boba has finally decided to blow this popsicle stand

3. the jawa is trying to figure out how to use boba's rocket fire to light that herb he's holding

4. oola is trying to pick the lock as pandemonium is reining supreme

5. gammy is definitely hoping the jawa finds a way to spark up the ole' doob

6. han is hanging around until the art critique gets there.

7. jabba looks a tad jealous of lando

8. bib & crumb have finally had enough of each other & the age old argument of who jabba likes better has finally come to a head

9. c3po is worried about bong/frog water spilling onto his golden rod & turning himself into a malfunctioning bucket of bolts

10. bubo wants no part of the smell of burnt droid balls & frog parts

Yes that is a sketchbook that Jason put out with his Celebration exclusive Padme print from like CE. It is nice but I would definitely get the print as well.
