Played through it on a PS3 so can't comment for other systems, but I found a lot of the times the cut scene graphics didn't seem to be particularly HD, especially in the scenes with Starkiller talking to Vader there was noticeable black artifacting within the areas on Vader's armour and the Deathstar outside of the window looked very blocky like a low Res render.

Which seemed very jarring compared to some of the beautifully crisp space renders in other parts of the game. At times I thought they'd accidentally put the PS2 renders in its place. Which sucked when Vader and the Apprentice looked incredible in-game on Soul Calibur IV

On Xbox 360 I never noticed a dip in quality for the cutscenes, they all looked pretty good to me. Although they could have done a little bit better--I know they were pre-rendered using the game engine, but if they were going to do them that way they should have just gone all out and done full high-detail cinematics.

Maybe it's just PS3, it did seem odd that the resolution was only 720p instead of going for the full 1080p/1080i. Was playing it on a 42" HD-TV maybe it just made the flaws more apparent.

just my opinion, but Republic Commando was a better game... i haven't played it in years, but i do remember loving the ride...

Ahh ok, was just going by the back of the case. Had just finished playing Jericho which looked amazing on the big screen. Enjoyed it a lot more as well.

I don't want to sound like I'm bashing the game, it was a great achievement, sounded fantastic and looked good in places. After all the hype though I was expecting a lot more.

For me my favourite Star Wars game is still Super Star Wars on the Snes

Just started the game coming off MGS 4.

First impressions:
Definitely one of the better SW games but the graphics and animation for SW unleashed is defin a step back when compared with MGS 4.

There are several games that I have seen that support 1080p on the 360 but not the PS3. (I typically buy for the 360 unless I have a very good reason to do otherwise, which isn't very often.)

I have never had a chance to compare one of these titles and see if there is any real difference between how they look on both systems. I doubt there's much of a difference, honestly.

rumor has it that Imperial Commando is in the works...

That's been a rumor since Republic Commando first came out. The only projects that Lucasarts have been working on are the Indiana Jones game and Force Unleashed, and of course Indiana Jones got pushed aside to finish Force Unleashed. (The new KOTOR MMO is being made by Bioware with Lucasarts publishing).

Will definetly agree with you on that as I did the same, when I finished MGS4 couldn't wait to start playing through it again. When I finished Force Unleashes I didn't really want to

I started on Sith Lord, don't know why I did that, but RAXIS PRIME was a pain in the ass, especially the boss. But I've heard that he's the hardest boss in the game, so that's not too bad.

yuck....the hardest level takes away the fun on most games. i usually start on the next to toughest and when i beat it if i like the game i choose the hardest but it's usually like work and not fun to me.

Yea, it was a pain. BUT, I didn't know it was going to happen, but I beat the boss half-way then died, then I respawned with him still beaten half-way. That was kinda interesting and cool, for I didn't want to keep beating him the same life each time just to die.

I just finished this game and I liked it. It really made me hang for a new Jedi game though.

So I'm going through to get all the holocrons and achievements, am I just dumb, or can you not replay the prologue with vader again????
