Finally beat it today. This game is so fun yet so frustrating at the same time.

Started my second play through today. Don't see how I'll ever beat this game on Sith Lord.

Is that the third setting or the high setting that's locked. I started with the third setting and the Jedi on the first level after Vader is whopping me.

Started on second level, now going through on the 3rd. Beat the prologue and got the Bossk achievement.

There is on mine. There are 4 and one of them is locked. Maybe it unlocks when you beat more levels, I'm only on the second.

Never paid attention when I started the first time. But I had all 4 available when I started the second time today. Guessing you unlock the last one by beating the game like in Gears

Was really unimpressed, have kept the receipt am going to pass it off as an unwanted gift when Lego Batman comes out this friday.

No offence to anyone who enjoyed it, but to me it played like a very dull version of Psi-Ops the Mindgate conspiracy. I will agree with a review I read it did have better acting and more emotion than the entire prequel trilogy :lol

Finished the game finally as well. Fought the Emperor....

Don't really know if I want to play through again... I do agree that the acting is MUCH better than the entire Prequel trilogy...as is the emotion and actors (except notable exceptions like Ewan McGregor, Christopher Lee, etc.) and I like the grittier look of the Apprentice. Ironically, I saw Sam Witwer (Starkiller) in THE MIST this past weekend as a soldier. It was also funny to learn he also voiced the Emperor...he did a great job!

Graphics turned out better than I expected, as did the story, but the controls and combat just didn't feel as responsive or sharp. It was somewhat clunky and at times you never really did "overpower" your enemies like I was hoping to eventually. Not that I wanted it to be easy, but Starkiller should've been making mincemeat of people at the end and instead I died like 10 times in a row during the opening of the last stage. I hate those damn Purge Troopers.

The combos suffer from the same problem that Spider-man 3 had. There was such a vast array and different combinations that you probably ended up with 2-3 favorites and predominately used those instead of mixing it up like some other action games make it easier for the players to memorize.

I hope that Starkiller makes an appearance in the Star Wars TV series...that would be a real cool surprise.

Those purge troopers are a pain. I eventually found a method that makes them easier to beat, for me at least.

Anyone know how close to ANH this is set? Seems like after the events in this game the Emperor would have taken Bail down alot sooner than when he blew up Aldaraan.

Is this game very good?
Was thinking about picking it up but I don't know what do you guys think?

Relatively short, low replay value, glitchy, sluggish controls. On the other hand, the story is great, the force powers are...unleashed, and it looks and sounds good. It can also be very fun, which is what matters the most.

I think it's worth playing, but not $60.

So hiring it out would be a more Viable option, and does it leave the game open for a Sequel? :monkey3

Sith Lord isn't too tough... i am glad i started with it because i really can't imagine going through this game again...

I really liked this game, especially the story... Really was an amazing ride. The gameplay wasn't perfect, but very enjoyable for a SW game. Definitely the most polished SW video game that I have played since the old school SNES SW Movie games. The graphics were stunning in some levels, you could just stand there and marvel at their beauty.

All in all, it was a good purchase, I don't regret buying it. And I had a really great time.

Well, if you've got a PS3 or Xbox 360, download the demo and try it out and see if you like it.

I guess there could be a sequel, but it's not like the story needs one. The sequel would be really different though.
