Tonights ep was a great way to wrap up this arc.

Is it just me or does it feel like they have a whole new creative team and writers on board now?

One thing became clear in this ep for me... NO MORE PADME! As soon as she was on screen - and hearing that irritating goody-two-shoes voice - I lost interest.

Very solid end to the arc. The fight between Anakin and Dooku was pretty badass, and its interesting to see Dooku push Anakin's buttons so. Still hard to swallow the fact that the jedi are such tools being manipulated by Palpatine. For beings so wise and powerful, they are being used like a condom. What's next? Did they show any previews?

Great episode!!!

I loved Cad Bane's Scorpion move "Well hello there." :rock

It was cool to see Anakin upset at Obi-Wan's lies, shade's of their fight in Ep 3.
And also everyone (well Yoda, Mace and Ahsoka) all seem to look at him funny during the Council meeting.

The fight at the end was kick ass and Dooku last Force Push was intense!
I love the shrewd, conniving Palpatine when he asks Anakin if the whole thing was his idea and then watching the fight with a smirk.
I can't remember but is Dooku supposed to know he's Darth Sidious?

Heh. In ROTS, I love the look Dooku shoots at Palpatine when the Chancellor tells Anakin: "Kill him. Kill him now." The obvious unspoken message registering on Dooku's face was "Wait! That wasn't part of the plan! Uh oh, I've been swindled...aw ____..." :lol

Yes. He's the only one who knows.

I'm hoping for an episode arc where they show Grievous pre-Cyborg and the consipracy to make him what he is now.

Mas Amedda and Sly Moore (who has disappointingly not been featured in the show, her post at the Senate podium left vacant) are also in the know.

Hmmm, good point! Hey Filoni! Put Sly Moore in the freakin' show! She has cool makeup and costume design in the movies, her home planet has been featured (quite prominently) in a fan-favorite arc, and she's part of Palpatine/Sidious' inner circle. Certainly if Sy Snootles garnered a large role in story arc, Sly is worthy of at least a juicy subplot in a Palpatine heavy episode of the show?

That silent sinead o'connor clone? Why? Would rather see Tion Medon type a guys ...

Lesse, an insignificant character from a rock planet that's only important as the site of a battle in ROTS, or a cold, calculating, force-sensitive character who was literally at Palpatine's side (and knew of his dual identity) through the fall of the Jedi and the Republic - who has the greater potential for storytelling in the realm of the Clone Wars? Hmmmm....

Precisely. While Tion Meddon has a cool design and was portrayed well in his brief scene, Utapau is better left untouched in this series, I think. Its intro should always be in ROTS. On the other hand, Sly Moore was seen throughout two episodes, and despite having no lines (she rarely speaks, even in EU material) she's certainly recognizable. And let's be real - she's creepy! She deserves to be in this show just as much as anyone. If nothing else, since Sio Bibble can be an "extra" in the recent Crisis on Naboo episode, Sly Moore can be an "extra" in anything Palpatine-related.

Good episode,

Anyone else notice how Dooku was sitting at the end of the table, just like Vader was in Empire? Loved it.

Awesome battle too. Dooku is so much cooler in the animated series. ;)

You guys want yet another pasty bald villianess on the show?

Yea! And I don't want her to have much dialogue - keep her nice and mysterious, like Boba in the OT - she's much creepier being silent. I do want to see her force-sensitivity used to some crazy effect, like waging a psychic assault on some Jedi who gets too close to learning Palpatine's identity. Hell, I think it would be cool if one of her primary duties is to "scramble" the Jedis' ability to sense that Palpatine is a Sith lord. I also assume there must be a hidden lair where Palpatine lets his hair down and hangs out as Sidious. I wanna see that place and see Sly Moore and Mas Amedda interacting with him as Sidious. Would make their further appearances in the Senate more ominous to watch.

Dooku alludes to Sidious' identity to Obi-Wan in AOTC. Obi-Wan just doesn't believe him.

Yeah I semi remember that but I was wondering if maybe he knew Sidious without realizing they were the same guy.

Even though I thought it was cool that totally went over my head.:slap

Part of the fireworks looked like the opening brawl. I missed the ESB reference as well. Didn't saw Luke either, just "old Ben".

Sly Moore should totally be in the show.

No new episode this week, the next one will be on the 24th. Does anyone know how far in advance dialogue is recorded for voice acting in TV? I've been wondering if Ian Abercrombie's dialogue had already been recorded for the remaining 4 episodes, if Palpatine's even in any of them.
