I could be wrong, but according to the original screenplay, Obi Wan cuts him in half, vertically. Pretty gruesome.

Yes, in the Marvel Comic book adaption, Kenobi slices him in half from top to bottom. Although, I guess it's not shown, but does Kenobi kill both of them?

But it seems, from these pics, they tried a bunch of different things for poor ol' Ponda. I know they shot a decapitated head, and two versions of the severed arm. One with his ""cup" hand, and the other with the wolf-like hand that we see in the finished film.


And SORRY guys, but that really nice fur rug pic of 'naked' Carrie was created by some talented individual in Photoshop. I've even seen a nice Playboy cover with Carrie also created that way. But alas, to my knowledge, no naked pics of her exist. Then again maybe someone in the years ahead will post some vintage pics somewhere? I hope so!
