Printed on the display board is "Heroes of the Rebellion". Does that means Sideshow is absorbing this into their 1:6 line? Will Sideshow develop another 1:6 C-3PO?

That's what I was wondering a few days ago. Is this "the" SSC Threepio? It just seems to be more of a statue with limited articulation and lights, but then, you really don't need much articulation on Threepio.
Do other company's products (say like Medicom or non-license sharing items from Hot Toys) that Sideshow sells/distributes ever have things like "Heroes of the Rebellion" on the box?
While the vac-metallizing (or maybe chroming - this is mostly metal) looks a little grainy in closer shots, the head is perfectly shaped, unlike the SSC PF, which looks a little off to my eye.
However, someone earlier mentioned that this will be in the $375 to $400 range due to the metal stuff. Ouch.
There's really no information about this item at all online last time I checked (it took a ton of searching just to confirm it is 1/6 scale.)

I wish HT had been able to show us some more star wars figures. But I'm not surprised.
All their attention right now seems to be focused on the Avengers and Batman and even those licenses had little revealed at SDCC! Seems to me like HTs is swamped right now. Maybe we'll get something at anicom.

Yep. Worst SDCC since SS started making Star Wars 1/6. Did they even do a future products talk this year? Massive let down.

Yeah, I enjoyed the daily reveals and teasers... but it seems like just about everything (at least 1/6) had already been known for some time.
So the lead up was good, but I guess i was hoping for one or two surprises or at least a panel with teasers of stuff we didn't know about.
