Makes a huge difference to me, but then, I know I'm biased to like the original Stormtrooper designs.

Pretty good job, I didn't realise quite how much of the duck-like appearance came from that black detail. Although I still sorta see it in the shape of the bottom of the helmet.

It still looks like a damn duck to me. It's that curve on the bottom and the round edges on sides that makes it look like a duck's beak. The original troopers had a gap in between and two big holes on each side, making the mask look more like some kind of scuba diving helmet.

I like the original better too. I dare say I even prefer the new Stormtrooper design over the original design from the OT. I really like the black in the suit.
