A certain detail had already been openly and unashamedly spoiled over the past few days in this thread and today I saw an image posted in the comments of a Star Wars article shared on facebook showing a particular key moment.

Why do people have to be such arseholes? I don't understand the mentality.

Some people do it quite innocently - a moment of forgetfulness or accidentally deleting a bracket in the spoiler-tag code or something like that. Others though are just out and out ***ts. They do it deliberately, they want to ruin other people's surprise. The only way to avoid both is apparently to stay off the internet altogether.

It's just a movie a-dev, who cares. The visuals in motion can't be spoiled for you! Just make sure that you stay off the internet a month before the next one hits and you'll be golden.

I got a kick out of this, kinda wish I didn't grow up with Star Wars as a kid, he has the right idea.

It does suck, but if it's the scene I'm thinking of don't feel too bummed about it - it was signalled a lot earlier on, we know it's coming.

I think I saw the same image you're talking about. But it was on this forum, for what ever reason Tapatalk posts what ever the last image posted is and uses it in the thread name headline, so I got a good view of a key moment
involving a lightsaber
(Not a spoiler but even hinting at what I saw probably deserves one) without even going into the thread lol

It is the biggest spoiler in the world.
Bigger than luke I am your father...

Some people cannot handle it lol. :lol

Too much for some to contain hahahahaha

Don't get me wrong, I can get over it. But in an ideal world there'd be nothing to have to ''get over'' in the first place. I refuse to in any way justify an arsehole being an arsehole.

A drunk lad kicks the wingmirror off a car - ''ah sure he was only having a laugh like'' - ehhh, he's still a ***t.

Going in 3 hours on about 2 hours of sleep. Hope my lack of sleep doesn't effect my enjoyment. The coffee refills are REAL!

And i've learned my lesson with spoilers. For ep8 i'm staying the **** outta threads even. (it's outta my system)

Spoiling a movie is nowhere near the same as breaking a mirror... Come on now

In fairness though man if you want to avoid spoilers for a few days you need to avoid the Internet for a few days.
I'm not sure exactly what incident you are referring to as I did just that, i refused to read a single review or read any posts in here until I saw it last night.
I'm guessing I know what spoiler you are referring to though. :(

I'm not comparing the magnitude of offence. But a person who will wilfully spoil a movie on others for kicks probably has the same mentality as someone who vandalises other people's property for kicks. I cannot respect either exhibition of ***t-like intent just because there are worse things they could have done.

100%...I wanna talk about Star Wars 7 but don't want any spoilers"...stupidity...dont go on internet...duh...its the internet...what does one expect?

Expecting perfection on the internet...ha...thats a new one...and dumb...

I expect nothing except there to be ********s out there. It's a futile complaint that will lead to no change whatsover but I'm making it anyway. Problem?

Then why beetch if you know the a holes are out there and you know that the probability is high(especially for this film) that some guy is gonna spoil it for you...

Open forums and blogs are the last place in the planet I want to have a conversation to go my way....lol...certain things like spoilers for ex do not bother me...otherwise I would not be here...i always expect one or two or a hundred shmucks to cone out of the woodwork...and believe it or not...its reality...makes life interesting :) IRL if folks say what they say on the net out in the Real world a lot more black eyes would be noticed lol
